“An outstanding bed and breakfast!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2011

We just took an anniversary trip to New England. We went to Maine, NH and VT. This was our favorite lodging spot by far! It is truly wonderful. The inn is nestled into the most beautiful place I've ever seen. Just a stone's throw away is a covered bridge. The rooms are lovely. Each has a fireplace. It was VERY quiet the night we stayed. We got a great nights sleep! The breakfast was so good I had to take a picture of it before I started eating! We found out on our trip that not all B and B's are created equally. This one was way beyond any of the others. Highly recommend!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Robert Frost room. It was wonderful. Right beside it is Harry Potter's closet...

A gem of a B&B in Jackson. Situated with great views and trail access. The staff is warm and welcoming and the rooms are cozy. The breakfast was great and apple cider with cookies were great treats
Supposedly rooms 14 & 15 are haunted....

Room Tip: If you're adventuresome request room 14 or 15, they're supposedly haunted.

We stayed at the Inn at Jackson for a couple of nights in September.

Our room was fine for a B&B, clean, comfortable and quiet so no complaints. It was on the top floor which I felt had a mildly spooky feel but we couldn't hear any other guests up there.

The guest lounge was very comfortable. Hot water and tea/coffee and sometimes cookies are available for guests too which is very nice when you return from your evening meal. However, the water to make tea/coffee was quite cool on both occasions.

The staff at breakfast time were very friendly and the breakfasts were excellent. You are able to help yourself to hot water for tea/coffee and fresh orange juice and there is a choice of about three different cooked breakfasts that are displayed on the blackboard. The cooked breakfast comes with either a slide of toast or a muffin which you could keep to one side to use as your own second course with jam or marmalade.

This B&B, out of the other B&B's in the USA I have to compare with felt very much like a business and less personal.

We stayed here for our friends Wedding. The Daniel Webster Room was amazing, it had a fireplace, it's own bathroom and was just beautiful. The homemade breakfast breads and delicious breakfast choices (which change daily) were great. Even the local Bears love this Inn... Lol. The staff treat you like you are part of the family. We can't wait to come and stay again!

Inn at Jackson is the quintessential New Hampshire bed and breakfast. The rooms are clean and nice. Bathrooms vary by room, but the Daniel Webster room and John Paul Jones rooms were great. We stay there anytime we're doing a big hiking trip (Mt. Washington, Mt. Jefferson, etc) as it's a great location to get to any of the major hikes or ski locations in the area. Parking is free, breakfast is delicious, beds are comfortable, and the innkeepers are lovely.

Oh, and if you're considering the Romance Package, GO FOR IT! The massage is definitely worth it, as was the breakfast in bed and "welcome refreshments" (Shovel Handle pub is in a pretty building but the food was meh in our opinion).

We were too late trying to reserve a room at another Inn chosen for a destination wedding, so "settled" on the Inn at Jackson. We were the lucky ones with a beautiful room...charming public areas...a welcoming staff...and fabulous breakfasts! Although we were busy with wedding events, we found time to walk to town, visit a nearby craft show, and take a hike along the river. The homemade breakfast breads and delicious breakfast choices (which change daily) were swoonworthy...and coming back mid-afternoon to a find a platter of homemade chocolate chip cookies in the common kitchen was a lovely touch.

The ONLY thing holding us back from an "excellent" rating was the bed pillows, which didn't match the comfort level of every other facet of our stay. If you bring your own pillow, it's a perfect 10! We quickly realized that many of the guests were return visitors, and we can understand why.

Loved our weekend at the Inn!

My wife and I returned to the inn after not being there for eight years. The experience was fantastic! The inn was updated, the staff was attentive, the price point competive. It was an extremely pleasant experience. We will be back!
