“Wonderful place to stay!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

My husband and I came up after a Living Social deal made it impossible to resist! We stayed in the "Log Cabin", and it was beautiful on the outside, and warm and cozy on the inside. The deal included breakfast and a bottle of wine each night of our stay. The breakfast was excellent (Continental Breakfast plus any entree on the breakfast menu, juice and coffee). Everyone we met at the inn was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning, and bringing friends and family next time!

We stayed this weekend at the Christmas Farm Inn. Everything was wonderful! Our overall experience was fantastic!

We stayed in the Carriage House. Our room was very clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The fireplace and jacuzzi were great!!

Service was great! Any questions or requests were met with a friendly smile and I got a sense that they were genuinely happy to help.

There was a wedding going on so parking was tight in front of our building. The staff was quick to remedy it and offered to shuttle us up the hill. We had a long ride and were hoping to move our 7pm dinner reservations to an earlier time. They were more than accommodating and helpful doing this.

We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. The food & service were excellent. The spa was also amazing.

They made our weekend getaway relaxing & memorable. I can't wait to come back!

We spend a night at this excellent hotel thanks to a groupon that came out in the fall. The hotel room as cozy and cute we loved our simple kind bedroom. The staff was super nice and the Italian night dinner on sunday night was excellent!! We had this delicious chocolate bag which was a dessert they offer amazing and Italian food soo good. The small bar was excellent also a great variety of martinis, drinks and great beer selection - very nice bartender. The indoor pool and hottub was a nice adition. Finally breakfast was also delicious freshly made bread all so good.

Room Tip: Have the food you wont regret it!

It has become a tradition to visit The Christmas Farm Inn every year with all the kids , with the grandchildren in tow. It has everything and more. The grandchildren are already asking about next year. Everyone is on a first name basis. Gary & Sandra , there children (Quinton & Sophia) Jen at the desk and the wonderful staff in the dining room , the housekeeping staff and Mary and the home made cookies. The warm fireplaced reading room , the comfort of the rooms and the outstanding food.

The Nestlenook resort next door with ice skating & horse drawn sleigh rides with Greg , a real Mainer with some great stories. Our grandkids love his down Maine accent.

Can't wait to return next year , so we can make more memories for the kids........

Room Tip: Ask for Jen , she will take care of your every need.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Christmas Farm and Spa in Jackson, New Hampshire. The owners state that they are committed to making the Christmas Farm Inn a quintessential New England experience and I think they are well on their way to doing so. The Christmas Farm Inn is ideally situated- away from the 'busy' ness of North Conway yet close enough for shopping, close to excellent skiing (we went to Wildcat and enjoyed the long runs and incredible views), and various other winter activities (we went snow mobiling with Northern Extreme and loved it). My wife went for a chakra massage, and floated back to our cottage. It was professional, very reasonably priced and thoroughly relaxing. The North Pole cottage was delightful (two bedrooms, two bathrooms, fireplace, T.V and fridge in the sitting room) was ideal for us. Breakfast was excellent every morning and the two meals we had at the Inn were very good. Quantity was more than any of us could finish (even our 14 year old and his friend), and quality was first rate. My ribs were fall off the bone tender and very flavorful. The Tuesday night Turkey special was fantastic. Service at the Inn was excellent- friendly, helpful and prompt- in the dining room at breakfast and dinner, and at the reception desk at all times- for example we found the pillows in the North Pole cottage thin and hard- so we called the front desk and much better pillows were promptly brought to us- also, my car battery died and I was given assistance with a boost and an excellent recommendation for a mechanic to replace the battery. Travellers are very vulnerable so such assistance makes a huge difference in one's overall experience. The hot tub, pool and exercise equipment were wonderful. The decor at the Inn was delightful. You can tell that it was decorated with love and tastefulness. We had a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable holiday and of all the places we have stayed in the Mount Washington Valley area this was far and away our favourite. The owners of this magnificent rustic are to be congratulated on their efforts to preserve and improve this beautiful and wonderfully situated New England Inn.

We are very happy you loved the charms of the Christmas Farm as much as we do! We all strive to give our guests a great time and are happy to go that extra step to help when we can. This place is a gem that needs protecting to preserve it for future generations. That is our job.

The Christmas Farm Inn is a true gem hidden within beautiful Jackson, NH. Surely there are many places to stay overnight in the area, but far and few leave you wanting to keep coming back time and time again. It's an experience like no other-so relaxing! The Inn is very well maintained, clean, and super cozy. We have stayed at the Log cabin in the Spring, and LOVED every minute of it. It felt like we finally were able to get away from the bustle of daily life, and just enjoy the peace and quiet of NH. The Log Cabin is HUGE! The king-size bed is super comfortable, the fireplace creates a nice ambiance, and a couple of rocking chairs on the front porch allow you to sit, and take in the breathtaking scenery of the White Mountains. Now the FOOD (restaurant on-site). WOW!!! The chef is unbelievable!!! Everything from salad, to appetizers, to KILLER lamb shanks, and a holy moly dessert-left us crawling back to our log cabin afterwards.Portions are enormous, and the food is simply exquisite! they also serve a full freshly made breakfast in the morning, not just the coffee and a stale pastry like most other places around.
We are going back in a few weeks to enjoy a nice relaxing weekend away, as we celebrate our engagement! :) can't wait! We booked a room there at the peak skiing season through Booking.com, and were really disappointed to find out that they were all booked up after all...However, the innkeepers were kind enough to go out of their way, and upgrade us to a beautiful suite, the Mr&Mrs Claus one, for not wanting to lose the loyal customers! How great is that?? :)
So, all in all, if you are looking for a great place to stay, in a lovely area, that offers amazing food, and great accomodations, where people go out of their way to make sure you leave happy, then give Christmas Farm Inn a try-I bet you won't be disappointed! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!! They are very reasonably priced compared to other places around, and will do whatever they can to make sure your visit is unforgettable! :)

We arrived Sunday night before Chritmas.
It was only my husband & I & my two small dogs. We stayed in the black smith shop.
I get that they want to keep it looking "new englandey" , but for the price they charged us is just ridiculous. Almost $400/night!!! It had two bedrooms but nothing special. Very 70's decor. Gas fireplace was nice but the bathrooms were SOOO outdated! & freezing tile floors. (Ok. Been spoiled by the Wentworth inn in Maine, they have heated tile floors for half the price)
It is not a great place to bring dogs, not a lot of space for them to run around due to all the roads leading to each cottage.
Breakfast was included (which should be at that price). Good breakfast. Christmas dinner was ok. Chicken was good but potatoes were cold.

Ok. Now the "spa". I had an awesome massage on "Christmas eve". Last appt of the day. The therapist was very nice.

Was really disappointed in the pool area. Very pretty room, but the water was very cold for being an indoor pool. Jacuzzi was nice. Cold in the pool area anyway. I understand that it is all glass & probably expensive to keep it nice & warm but at the prices they charge they could at least have it warmer for the holiday season! One of My favorite part of traveling is the pool & the gym. Gym equipment was not professional but , adequate for what I needed.

Oh well, I guess we were spoiled by the inn at mill falls in Meredith,NH. We wanted to try a different place this year but will be going back to the inn at mill falls for my birthday in feb.
I really don't like leaving negative reviews , but thought it was necessary because of the prices they charged us.

We are pleased to see that you enjoyed many aspects of your stay.

Christmas week is one of the busiest of the year when our cottages sell for $319 per night including a full American breakfast. The Blacksmith Shop is a 2-bedroom/2-bathroom cottage with a sitting room with sofabed and fireplace. Due to its size, this kind of cottage is usually shared by 4-6 guests. If two couples share they pay $159 per night each which is a reasonable room price during Christmas vacation week.
I understand that for just two adults and a dog this may not have been the ideal lodging solution for you. We have three pet-friendly cottages and one pet-friendly room which may have suited your need and budget better, but I assume that room was already booked.

Dog owners usually are very happy with our 15-acre property, especially as two of the pet-friendly cottages (one of which was yours) have direct access to a large grassy hill out back. We find that most guests are very considered in their driving behavior on our property. It does not lend itself to speeding.

Our indoor pool air and pool water temperatures are set at 83 degrees, the hot tub at 104 degrees. Sometimes it is necessary for us to add water to either which will make it colder temporarily. Some guests seek the thrill of combining the snow with the hot tub, letting cold air in through open doors.

Although we may not have your custom in the future, we wish you many happy returns to the beautiful White Mountains.

Sandra and Gary
