The late season trip to mid-New Hampshire for 4 hours of late afternoon/early evening skiing was a last minute thought, and well worth the trip. The mountain was still almost completely open despite really warm temps and a Winter without snow. The runs are shorter than the big mountains, but challenging. The equipment seems very new, and the base lodge inviting and reasonable. The busloads of kids arrived and quickly dispersed throughout the many trails. The atmosphere was very friendly and felt like the older ski areas of days gone by. The mogul filled trail on the lift line: 'Hurricane' was much steeper than it looked, and presented itself as a great challenge. They are 100% illuminated, and 100% fun.
