“Quiet atmosphere in a busy college town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

As Umpleby's is a few blocks away from the Green the lines are much shorter, but the coffee and food is just as good if not better than some of the other coffee shops in town. It's also a bit quieter and more spacious for a great place to study.

“Great sandwich”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2012 via mobile

The Martha Quest chicken salad sandwich was amazing. The Reuben was also good. The cookie was delicious. The servers were friendly. The bread was SO good. We just loved our lunch at the little bakery just off Main Street.

“Disappointed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012

It has been some time since I have eaten here, but went mainly for elevenses with a friend. I fancied one of their sausage rolls and, while it was generous in size, I found the flaky pastry with the sausage far too greasy. The fat just oozed out! Perhaps they would be better making it with a a basic pastry recipe or a rough puff pastry at the most.

Coffee is excellent, but I cannot comment upon their other offerings. I make my own muffins, scones, and sandwiches at home.

“Decent Sandwich!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2012

They have a nice range of toasted sandwiches. Price is okay ($7-8) relative to what else is available in the town. Staff are always pleasant and friendly.
