If you want Korean/Japanese food that is consistently fresh and delicious Yama is your best bet for this area. Two locations, two chances to eat great sushi. Hanover location is much more upscale, colorful interior, large windows overlooking the lower end of Main Street. The other Yama in West Lebanon is much more casual and unpretentious, not to say Yama II is uppity in any way, the staff are always gracious, service is consistently excellent. Yama I (the original location) is small and dark and feels much more authentic. Favorites include overflowing Lunch Boxes filled with Salmon Teryaki or Pork Bulgoki, a spicy saucy mixture. A lighter excellent choice is the Bibimbab, steamed vegetables, crunchy sprouts, egg and greens mixed in a spicy sauce. Love the Dak Dori Tang spicy chicken stew and can't go without the Manduguk a warm beef broth gently soaking giant meat dumplings (vegi also available). So many choices of Sushi, my favorite (I know it is far from the typical Sushi healthy morsels) The Lebanon Roll, quick fried and dressed with a spicy orange sauce. Never had anything I didn't like here. When you visit either of the restaurants you walk away feeling totally satiated both mentally and physically. The warm hospitality makes you want to be part of their family.
