“Top Notch Service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

You guys did a great job which was based on the quality of your staff and
the old New England quaint quality of the property. When I checked in I was made me feel right at home. The woman at the desk in the morning went way out of her way to look for a scarf that had gone missing.

Room Tip: Quaint Old New England decor, nicely appointed, clean and excellent customer service!

Looking to shake the winter blahs ? Consider the sunday brunch at the Old Salt....quality food, great assortment for everyone including made to order omlets a chocolate fountain and an assortment of sliced to order roasts. Place can get very busy so consider reservations, or try the first come first served seating in the bar area, which still offers table service with a more casual atmosphere.

Lamies Inn is a nice hotel with nice size rooms and comfortable beds. The desk staff is friendly and very helpful with any questions you might have about your stay along with being very accomdating with guest requests. The hotel was very gracious in keeping the kitchen open later to accomodate a large family dinner due to a late evening event. A number of us stayed in various rooms, one being a handicap accesible room with a large bathroom to accomodate a wheelchair or ederly guests in our case. It was the perfect place for our family. The only suggestions I would give is to list on the website that there are hairdryers in each of the rooms, the bed sheets in my room were scratchy and thin, and to add coffee makers in the room because this was not available in the lobby during late evening hours or very early in the morning. For those of that arrive late or had to leave early it would have been nice to have before leaving. Great place and look forward to staying there again.

Room Tip: Rooms on the second floor have two beds and the heating units in the room kept the rooms toasty warm...

This was our third time visiting the Old Salt.It is one of our favorite eateries on our US trips. The bar food here is excellent, but I feel that the real show stopper is the brunch at weekends. There is a mountain of beautiful food to tuck in to.Eat all you want for the unbelievable sum of $16-99.
without a doubt this is incredible value for money, make sure you are hungry going there to reap the full benefit.Staff are pleasent and the venue is well stocked with all types of drinks.

I have gone to Lamies for years. I almost always spend a week there for Thanksgiving. The hotel is very charming with extremely comfortable rooms, and PET FRIENDLY. They have special weekend and weekday rates that are VERY REASONABLE. It is a very inviting place and a place that would make the whole family happy. The area is also full of fun things to do. Walks on the Beach, Outlet stores, and many accessible activities. We just love it, and it only takes an hour drive from the Boston area.

The Old Salt Tavern, which is attached, is a fabulous restaurant. They have a Sunday Buffet that cannot be topped, and special all-you-can-eat meals on Weds (Spaghetti & Meatballs) and Fri (Fish&Chips). The Sat. Prime Rib is as good as it gets. Often we just drive up for Sunday Brunch and then enjoy the area.

WARNING - Reserve in advance for both because there is HIGH demand.

Room Tip: Ask for the pet friendly rooms if you are bringing an animal. You would never know, however, that a...

Our first stay at Lamies was during our fall 2012 vacation, and it was a wonderful experience! It was like stepping back in time at least 50 years. The total decorations throughout the Inn were wonderful and included many antiques, which for an antiquer, felt like home. The entire hotel staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. The Sunday Brunch in the Old Salt was beyond description and not to be missed. Highly recommended for the experience.

My new husband and I needed to unwind, away from our families after our wedding. So we had planned a quiet get-away at a nice "bed and breakfast" a short drive away. Maureen took excellent care of all of our questions and needs.

Room Tip: Get the canopy bed! It's romantic and quiet since it's on the other side far from the restau...
