“nice concert hall”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2014

first time to this concert hall and had a great time...you have to get there early if you want to sit during a concert...plenty of standing room..drinks a little pricey and floor gets messy from people spilling their drinks...

“Overcrowded , teenage musicland !”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014

Years ago the shows appealed to everyone , now if you are over 16 forget it .Crowds are unbearable as they really pack them in . An occasional show for the old folks of the 60's is given and it is a laugh to see them trying to relive their glory days . Spare yourself the pain of seeing them !More quality entertainment is needed but that just doesn't sell tickets anymore now , does it .

“Historic is the optimum word here!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

It is historic which means it has pretty much remained the same. It draws some great venues, bands and acts that have seen since your younger days. That's most of the appeal along with the pricing however due to seating limiting tickets are hard to get. Don't go there for ambiance, that's all I'm going to say.

“Casino Ballroom”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

Over the years, we've seen George Carlin, Eddie Money every year, B52's, Sara Evans, America, The Outlaws, KC and The Sunshine Band, Southside Johnny, J Geils, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bill Burr, Lewis Black, and more. Like one reviewer said, it's simple, small, inexpensive, with no real obstructions to see the show from anywhere. A good deal, though drink lines can be long and beers can be a little pricey. They always pull in worthwhile acts. Hard to believe that Janis Joplin, The Doors, Jerry Seinfeld, Louie Armstrong, U2, Led Zeppelin, some of the biggest acts in the world, have played this small venue at some point in their respective careers, just a couple of miles from my home. I'd recommend it all day long.

“One of the Best Venues We've Been To”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2013

At the beginning of the year my best friend and I set a goal that we would see three different bands that we had never seen in concert before at three venues that we've never been to before. We saw Three Days Grace at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom on 9/27/13 and we had an awesome time! We saw TDG in Lowell back in February and this was a much nicer show! The Ballroom is a small and older venue but it's cozy and we think that's what made the show. (We think that the quality of the show is a reflection on the venue.) The staff at this show were on their toes the whole time and were quite accommodating. The food and drinks offered are far less expensive than the bigger name/seat venues and there was plenty of room to move around, even when we were crowded in at the front of the stage. We will definitely attend another show here!
