“Great small venue”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2013

I have gone to the Casino Ballroom 2 times this year to se Ted Nugent and Blondie and had a great time. The sound is great and you can see from anywhere in the building. Overall a great time.

“Intimate, Relaxed Venue - Great Atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013

Casino Ballroom is not a fancy, modern venue, and that's exactly what I loved about it. The place has incredible character, and was perfect for the comedy show I attended. Snack food choices and a bar made it relaxed, and I was very content with our seats, even though they were in the General Admission area. Get there early for a good pick of the GA tables, and you'll get a great view without feeling crowded (the other seats are quite close together). It's very warm in the venue in the summer, so dress for that. I would love to see another show in such a charming spot -- if you're a fan of relaxed, intimate venues, you'll enjoy this as much as I did.

“Easy to get to, good amenties close by, and intimate. What's not to like?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013

People have said that the Casino Ballroom is too old, too run-down, and too crowded. I just went to my first concert there, and I couldn't disagree more. Where else can you drive right in, park next door for $5, eat two minutes away with a view of the ocean, walk right in with no lines, see some great acts from close up and with good sound, and then walk out, get in your car, and drive right out of the parking lot with no waiting? Or, if you like, go out afterwards or just walk on the beach, and go back to your car later? It's also a historic venue that has hosted some of the greatest acts ever.

It's true, the ballroom is pretty old and a bit worn at the edges. It can be a bit difficult to move around when it's packed. And the ballroom is flat and long, so it can be hard to see the stage if you're at the far ends of the room or if you're particularly short. But it's easy to walk over to the bar or the bathroom, there is table service, and Security is almost friendly. And as I said above, you can't beat the easily accessible location right on the beach, with restaurants and cheap parking nearby. It's less than an hour from Boston or Manchester, and that extra driving time is less than the extra time you spend trying to get in or out of the Garden, Fenway, or Gillette Stadium. And you can see the acts right up close, not on some video screen at the other end of a football field!

“Love the Casino Ballroom”

We always enjoy the concerts at the Casino Ballroom. They have theater style seating now which is a nice improvement. Not a fancy venue but always a good time.

“Small venue with heart”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

With varied artists over the years, this is a great place to see a concert. No stadium seating, but most of the seats have a good view. Side and back seats have tables for eating and drinking from the concessions in the hall. Comedy, jazz, oldies, new school. It's all here. Last concert I saw were the "Beach Boys."
