The people at Joe Dodge make the trip to MTW very special. I received smiles from the staff at dinner, checking in, at the shop, from other guests, everywhere.
I'm dismayed to see any negative reviews.
I've been there three times and the quality was fantastic. It isn't a hilton, in that you have shower stalls and bunk beds, etc. But it's very clean, there are cozy fireplaces, kind guests to strike up conversations with, and plenty of advice and stories to go around that will help you in your travels on the mountain.
If you DONT want to camp and DONT need a luxury suite, this is the perfect place to stay (i you aren't antisocial or particularly needy).
