My lady and i live in the southern part of the state,NH As i tell my friends why we go so far north to relax is cause literally it "hurts to listen" No noise pollution like at home The cabins are clean and accommidating Just bring your food and favorite beverage Bob and Sue are the GREATEST As someone made mention yes the cabins are near the road but after a day of fishing or paddling on the river right across the road the state has a nice boat launch there you don't hear the 1 or 2 cars passing thru the evening Cabins have a screened porch and also there is a fire pit near the cabins to sit by the fire Every time we have been there the other guest are always mindful of others and quiet And if ya forget anything right next door is Mt Dustin store for gas and they have fresh meats and deli Look em up on the net Enjoy We always have Phil n Sue

A group of friends has been renting these cabins for several years as a home base for our annual kayaking outing. The cabins are small but clean. The management is friendly and accomodating. We look forward to going back again in 2012 and visiting with Bob and Sue Senter, the owners.

We had a great time with a home away from home feel! There are a lot of natural areas to explore nearby. Really, this is one of my favorite places to visit! Cabins are clean with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. There is an on-site laundry facility for longer stays.

We just returned from our fourth trip this summer to Magalloway River Inn, to kayak and relax with friends. We started coming here about ten years ago, bringing friends with us to fill the five cabins. So many people have wanted to join us, that we now come four different times throughout the summer, usually filling the cabins. Sue and Bob are the most gracious of hosts, providing anything we need to make our stay pleasant. The location across from the river is ideal, giving us a great place to launch our kayaks. We follow each foray down the river with a shared dinner, cooked over the complimentary barbeques, and then relax around the campfire. We would recommend it to anyone who loves a peaceful, scenic, vacation. Cathy and Rich Sholtanis

Room Tip: The small cabins are ideal for a couple. The large cabin is good to have if you have a larger group.

This is a small cluster of 5 cabins, there is no longer an inn on the site. The cabins are very close to one another and to the road, though we had no problems in terms of noise. We rented on of the "small" cabins that can sleep a maximum of three. It had a kitchen area that included a small sleeper sofa and the small tv was on the kitchen table, though there was enough room for two to sit there and dine. The kitchen had a small refrigerator, stove top and microwave. Bath had shower stall and there was enough hot water. The bedroom was very small, just room for the bed, without any drawers whatsoever. It was too small to put a nightstand next to the bed. There were some hooks on the wall, a couple of luggage holders and a small rod for hanging a few things. We stayed just for a long weekend, so it was adequate. The queen bed was comfortable enough, and the linens were nice. The cabin was reasonably clean, though there was a layer of dust on the heating unit that is just under the kitchen table top where some rather old sporting type magazines where piled. Ceiling fans in both of the two rooms worked well and cooled the cabin throughout the night during some very hot weather. A small screened front porch was nice, but not at all private as your neighbors could hear a normal conversation. There is a boat launch directly across the street, where paddlers can put in. A small store is located right next door. The area is fabulous and scenic and the fishing was good. Wildlife is abundant and you may see eagles, foxes, moose, deer, and rabbits. You can also jump in the water there, but beware of leeches!
