“Bought out by other chain; no longer Bagelry.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012

THIS IS NO LONGER THE BAGELRY :(

The Bagelry was one of my favorite places to catch a quick bite to eat. They had the best staff and even better bagels. In fact, they had been awarded NH's best bagel for 3 straight years. It was a real treat when my parents would take me there before school. Unfortunately, the Bagelry had been bought out by another local chain. After the transaction, nothing had changed, pictures were still on the walls and most importantly, the bagels were still as they had been. But when I walked in there this morning, I was shocked. They had taken down all of the original art, removed all of the tables and chairs. They even took down the menu board and bagel racks. There was quite a line, and I didn't even bother waiting. Not liking the new "renovations" I turned around and back to our car. I can't imagine many other locals are happy with this change. And when the sudents return, I think they'll be rather upset as well.

“STAY AWAY!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2012 via mobile

Isn't the Bagerly anymore! Different owners, the people who owned this for 30 years have sold it. It's the owners of the Bagel Works of Portsmouth. When the bought it everyone was concerned they would change the recipes and they have including what they call cream cheese :(
Now its awful! No locals will go here...

“Very busy and worth the wait”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

Popular on a Sunday morning with UNH college students but plenty of seating. Bagels were sizable and fresh. We had a good lox spread, pizza bagel, tortellini soup, wrap and veggie bagel. Everyone loved their choices and it was reasonably priced.

“Fantastic bagles, crappy coffee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2011

The best bagels ever (try the oatmeal toasted with butter)! Need some serious training in the coffee department. Mocha Lattes consistently are served with way overheated milk and too much or too little chocolate. Seems like the college student staff just hasn't been trained properly.
