“Fantastic bagles, crappy coffee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2011

The best bagels ever (try the oatmeal toasted with butter)! Need some serious training in the coffee department. Mocha Lattes consistently are served with way overheated milk and too much or too little chocolate. Seems like the college student staff just hasn't been trained properly.

“Super Cheese!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2010

Great place for a quick bite and some wifi in Durham. Go for the super cheese. Seriously. They have a ton of great options, delicious fresh bagels, and awesome vegetarian options. It's not the cheapest option in town, but it's one thousand percent worth it.

“town institution - well worth it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2009

The Bagelry has been in Durham for many years and they have great bagels, sandwiches, coffee drinks and homemade soups. They are a very busy place with a lot of activity. The staff is friendly and even though the line might appear long at times it seems to move along quickly. Super cheese and the Reuben is to die for. I love to support local business and they seem to be one of the community leaders in "giving back". to the community.
