I've lived in Claremont, NH for 25 years, and thought about an old building projecting into the Sugar River cascading through downtown, "That's where a restaurant should be." Now it's happened.
Seating in fair weather includes an outdoor triangle with spectacular view of a dam/falls used in the factory era.
Common Man has sixteen restaurants in NH, and their signal appetizer bar of cottage cheese/french dressing and crackers is also here, with a sign asking that one take only what one will actually eat.
Menu includes appetizers, Yankee specials, steaks, seafood, drinks, and their signature white chocolate at the end.
I've been to CM for gatherings of 30 and for individual dinners (now they are open for lunch), and always had quality fare and friendly service
