“Made us feel right at home!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

The Cobb Mansion is beautifully remodeled with top notch service! The decor was impressive and very clean. We stayed in the Julia Boulette room on the 1st floor with direct access to an outdoor patio. The bed was very comfortable, the food was delicious, and Andrea our host was extremely informative of the local area, great restaurants, and the Tahoe area where we divided our time. We were spoiled with evening appetizers, a delicious gourmet breakfast experience, and a room with board games for evening laughs. On the last morning we were leaving very early for a long trip home. We told Andrea she could leave out some cereal or pastries and not worry about the full service breakfast. She was up bright and early, along with Jeff the owner, to greet us and make sure we were taken care of. I highly recommend the Cobb Mansion!

Room Tip: The Julia Boulette room has a nice patio with a private entrance. Extremely comfy bed, too.

Not sure what I can say that other reviewers haven't already said. The Cobb Mansion is quite an experience. It is much more than just a place to sleep while traveling. We had the Hop Sing room which was beautifully decorated. I have to say I have never stayed somewhere cleaner than this place--there was not a speck of dust anywhere. This was our first B&B experience and I bet there isn't another one that can top it!
We can't wait to come back. Breakfast was amazing, the history and house tour was interesting and a nice touch. The tour around town in the old convertible was so cool! We can't wait to come back. They really make you feel comfortable and at home.

What a memoriable experience this past weekend! We really had a great time! The room (Julia Bullette) is beautiful. We can't thank innkeeper Andria enough for going out of her way to make our wedding special. Food superb, 5 star service. She did an outstanding job and extremely knowledgeable. She recommended some excellent local restaurants. Thank you! Chris and Wendy

Room Tip: All the rooms are beautiful, if you want a large room try the Harris Suite. If you want to save a l...

Great experience, excellent hosts, will be back. The breakfast was superb, great tour both night and morning, didn't want to leave. Plus the Saltire was displayed for our arrival which displayed they were interested in their visitors.

We had the distinct pleasure and good fortune to be a guest at this first class B & B. Andrea was the Hostess with the Mostess!! She served breakfast on bone china with sterling silverware and Waterford glasses and pitchers. The perfect stop in Virginia City. Andrea also provided us with reservations at "The Core' for a magnificent "Locals" dinner (which was a must do and a 10 at the same time!) located just a few blocks away. David was kind enough to escort us to his local watering hole at the Mark Twain where he joined us in throwing back a few Bourbons, then guided us up to The Core for dinner. A short ten minute walk home in a spring snow shower topped off a perfect evening in Virginia City, Nevada. Thank you all.........

Room Tip: Loved the ground floor unit with the private entrance.....
