This is a very pleasant quiet RV park in a rural setting yet just a few minutes from Reno. It is set back off the freeway and all campsites have nice views of the surrounding hills. Some sites are under towering pine trees, and there is a small creek running through the park. All sites have full hookups, cable TV and wi-fi.
The interior roads are paved as are the campsites. They all have lawns and most are quite wide. Many are pull-throughs, and all sites are big-rig friendly. Amenities include a smallish outdoor pool and spa and a large laundry that is sparkling clean. Just off the check in office is a large, peaceful reading room with big comfy couches :-) Propane is available at the park entrance. This is mainly an adult-oriented park as there is no playground.
RVs must be 10 years or newer, and there are no long-term live-ins here.
The desk clerks were very friendly and helpful and they have lots of information and brochures about Reno and other surrounding attractions.
There is a casino here and it's about 200 yards from the RV park. We had lunch at the cafe located on the side of the casino - it's all non smoking and the food was comparable to a Denny's. There is also a Jack-in-the-Box located next door to the casino.
The price here is a little high, about $40 a night. However, they do give you coupons for the casino, a free drink at the casino bar, and a buy 1 get 1 free meal at the cafe.
We will stay here again if we are ever in this area.
