I have dined at Mirabelle numerous times. Each time is wonderful; the menu changes seasonally. It is a small restaurant with hand-crafted food, with attentive and friendly wait staff. They have a 'prix-fix' menu or a la carte menu, both of which are affordable, especially for Tahoe. And at the end of your meal, you will get a tiny scoop of home-made sorbet as a palate cleanser. My personal favorite is the Alsatian Tart as an appetizer. Whatever Chef is serving as a special that night will always be amazing. Duck two ways is always a winner, as is the pasta du chef. Mirabelle has a Chocolate or Grand Marnier Souffle available for dessert, which are AMAZING, especially when you consider how difficult it is to make this sort of thing at altitude! So yummy. I come here with friends every year, specifically to get the souffle. WORTH THE TRIP away from the casino corridor!
