I just got back from a 2 night stay at Caesars. I had a really nice room on the 10th floor looking over the Mountains ok and the Parking lot. But that did not stop me from enjoying the room. I had a spa room rich was very nice after a long days at the casino. The room was very clean and the staff was very very friendly.

As we all no Ceasars Tahoe is no longer going to be Ceasars Tahoe, The name is going to be changed and its going to be called Montbleu, They are going to start doing the casino over and then redo the rooms. I can not wait to see it when it gets all done. Ceasars Tahoe got sold when Harrahs brought over the other Ceasars Empire.

After much searching for lodging in Tahoe, we ended up at Caesars primarily due to a good rate I received on a "Spa Package". I got a room for $120 a night on the weekend when Harrahs and Harvey's were significantly higher. I thought the package came with 1/2 hour massage each night, but it turned out to be a 1 1/2 hour massage! It wasn't actually spelled out to me, but it turned out that the room for two nights was $240 and included tax and a $230 spa credit! My husband and I each had a wonderful massage. Although the spa locker rooms were not that fabulous, our massages were great. They were filming a movie there, too - "Smokin' Aces" which was fun to watch. Our room had a parking lot view - which actually turned out to be interesting because of some filming they did there. I saw Ben Affleck up close in the lobby of the Horizon.

Our room at Caesars was a standard king and was quite nice and spacious. The linens were just ordinary, but the room had some luxurious touches. The huge round tub/shower was fun. The room had some wear, but was clean.

We went and saw Abdacadabra, the faux ABBA concert, and the music was quite good. It felt a bit odd, though, because the crowd was small and older, and so the enthusiasm felt a bit forced. Overall, Caesar's was a good choice for us - nice, and a good value.

I think I paid $69 per night. And that was great for this hotel. I would pay a little more if I had a view to speak of, which I didn't. It's clean and the rooms are nice. It does have that Caesars look. Kinda gawdy, but that is expected from Caesars. The service was great. I had two issues with my room. A tub that wouldn't drain and a broken iron. Both were fixed within ten minutes of my call to the front desk. I've waited alot longer for $300 a night hotels to fix things. I even got a call from a manager to ensure that everything was fixed.

The casino was great. Good mix of tables, slots, and a good sports book.

The shuttle picks you up right outside for all the slopes. You don't want to walk to the Heavenly Gondola in your boots from here. But it's a short walk in your regualar shoes.

If you want to be close to Heavenly village and not be in a Casino stay at Embassy Suites.

Lake Tahoe is beautiful...it takes some pretty terrible sevice to cause bad feelings in a place that great. Well, Caesars Lake Tahoe can provide you with that level of service. When we arrived, it took 3 sets of keys and 3 trips to the front desk for the staff to give us keys that worked for our room.
The day before arriving, we reserved and paid for 4 tickets on the hotel's sunset cruise. When we arrive to pick up the tickets at the activities desk, the extremely rude concierge could not find the tickets or our reservation. Instead of offering to look up our reservation in the computer, he insisted he printed all of the tickets himself and said we obviosly had not called in a reservation. He then tried to charge us for 4 tickets. Luckily, we had a faxed receipt for the tickets. When he bothered to look in the computer for our reservation.... voila, there it was. He confirmed we were supposed to meet out front at 6:10 pm for a bus to the boat and wrote on the tickets in big red letters "Valet 6:10 pm". We sat outside from 6:05 to 6:20 pm confirming with the valet attendant that we were in the right place and at the right time. Finally, when it became obvious something was wrong, we returned to the activities desk where the rude man told us the the bus had left on time at 6. With the tickets in hand and the big red letters stating "Valet 6:10 pm", the man reluctantly refunded our money and attempted to give me a lecture on being on time.
Not wanting to argue, I accepted the refund and promptly went to the front desk and asked for a hotel comment card. The front desk clerk informed me that the hotel does not accept comments. ?? Interesting.... I asked him about the purpose of the big box on the counter with the openning on top that says, "Thank you for your comments." He said, "I don't know why that is there. This is my first day." Ok.... So, I asked if I could please speak with a manager. He says, "I am the manager".
In short, I would never stay there again. Life is too short to pay to be treated like that. At $220/night I am sure there are better accomodations in Tahoe. I hear Harrah's and Harvey's are excellent. We visited the concierge at Harrah's a couple of times after this incident and they were happy to help us book arrangements for other activities.

Stayed here for four nights with my wife and two sons. Both of our rooms were very clean and the service was very close to the best that we have experienced, and we have stayed at many excellent hotels through out the country. Not as big or opulent as Caesar's Las Vegas, or Atlantic City, but still very nice. The rooms were good sized and bright. Two sinks in bathroom area, with door between them and toilet. Great setup.
We also visited Harvey's and Harrah's, both of which also seemed nice, but bigger than what we were looking for on this vacation. None of these hotel casinos compare to the better hotel casinos in Vegas or A.C., but all are nice.
We were a bit disappointed with the pool. We were expecting to see waterfalls, but they were never on. Definately detracted.
We were also told that the lake was only two blocks away. It was more like six or seven from Lakeside, which is a private beach that we had to pay to get on, which we did the first day. The remaining days we drove about five minutes to Zepher Cove, which was more populated and lively. Paid only $8.00 for parking.
We ate at both the breakfast and dinner buffets once, at Caesars and though they were both very good.
The casino is smallish, but it workeed well for us, as it was easy for our 17 & 19 year old son's to find us when were there.
No real complaints. Service staff was attentive and friendly. We all enjoyed our stay here and plan on going back.
