“Nice hotel, nice price, fun casino”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2012

Stayed during the week overnight in a standard room. The room was clean, the bathroom large, the bed comfortable and the furniture was in good shape. The couch in the room was a nice feature for lounging in the room without having to sit on the bed or a desk chair. The check in was easy and took no time at all. One thing I didn't like, which I knew going in, was a $2.25 daily fee, basically a resort fee. I think these fees should be added to the room rate since I can't not pay it, even if I didn't want to use any of their facilities. The casino was fun and had a good mix of games and machines and I was even doing well for a while. We ate at the coffee shop in the morning and thought it was a good value. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: If you park in the garage it is a long walk to the front desk and hotel elevators, but the outside l...

“Hotel + casino -”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

Hotel room was clean and well appointed with microwave, small fridge and coffee machine, the room was clean and spacious and mine had a view of the Lake. The hotel was very good value for the money and I would certainly stay again. The casino however is small and spartan by modern standards, not much going for it actually. Luckily there are three other decent casinos on same block so this in the end was not an issue for me.

Room Tip: Higher floors on lakeside for a view

“Pretty clean overall, poor maintenance, cheap rooms.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012 via mobile

Mostly clean but I should recieve 1/2 off due to black mold growing in the grout lines of the dirty dirty shower. Please teach your maids to clean EVERYTHING... the jacuzzi tub was awesome! Thats the only reason we stayed here. I might recommend changing the plumbing fixtures to update the rooms too! A great value otherwise.

“great one night stay if you travel lake tahoe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

nice hotel if you are traveling south lake Tahoe. the rooms decor is a bit stuck in the 80's but the hotel services are great. the buffeete dinner is very versatile and in a good quality and also the round bar next to the casino. the casino itself is not overwhelming with smoke and crowd so i thought it is just the right amount. the hotel surroundings are nice for walking in an afternoon but don't be tempted to buy a souvenir in the many tourist shops around.

“Good Stay for Right Price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

We stayed here last weekend because it was a lot cheaper/rooms were available than both Harrahs and Harveys. You don't get as great of a view of the lake as you do from Harveys, but for the price and the location, you really can't beat it. Room was comfortable, bathroom was spacious, bath was a jacuzzi type, and for anyone familiar with Taho, it is really close to everything!
