To be honest, we hadn't been back to this location in a couple years after a horrendous service experience. We ended up just leaving and heading to the Reno location, where the service has always been good. But my son wanted to go here while we were in Sparks so I gave it another try.
And I'm glad I did. The service was very friendly and efficient and the food is always pretty good. When it came to my steak, the waiter helpfully told me they tend to cook a little on the rare side, so I switched from "medium" to "medium-well" and it came as expected. The bleu cheese wedge salad was excellent and well worth the additional buck. As for dessert, I'd probably pass on the carrot cake. It actually had a more "carrot" than sweet taste. Probably the cheesecake would be a better choice (I had went with the 4-course for $15 special).
The kids menu is relatively large and inexpensive. It also comes with a lot of activities to occupy children, so that is nice.
Another thing that impressed our son was the salt and pepper shakers here are actually grinders. So he enjoyed loading up on the freshly-ground pepper and a touch of sea salt.
So, all in all, a pleasant experience.
