Most of the stay was great. The cocktail staff seemed to be almost non-existent, even with a Halloween party going on. When I did finally find a waitress, she didn't know about the special drink for the season, and overcharged me by 0.50 per drink, per the announced price. Trader Dick's restaurant was excellent. The prices were a bit steep, but our waiter was fantastic!!!!!

Room Tip: We had a room in the East Tower. Not a fantastic view - looking down, you could see a railyard. Lo...

This was my first visit to the Nugget. I usually visit Las Vegas and have been in good and bad hotels there. The Nugget is a great find, both for the value and the comfort. It has a nice variety of restaurants too.

We celebrated our 35th anniversary at The Nugget for 3 nights. Our trip was also to relax and be pampered after a long and stressful business project. The Nugget povided exactly what we were looking for. With the size of the hotel, everything was not too far of a walk to get to. We had dinner in the steakhouse, food and wait staff were excellent. We did have a problem with the tv and the safe, however after a conversation with front desk and repair people trying to fix both items it was suggested we move to another room. This was upgraded to a suite and we now will return to the suite on our next visit. The rooms are all beautiful in the East Tower and recommend booking there. Can't wait to go back !

Room Tip: East Tower rooms, newly remodled and nice large tv's also enjoyed tv in bathroom

This is a great hotel, nice restaurants, pool and other amenities. However, it is way too smoky in the lobby, elevators, hotel hallways and rooms. Please improve the ventilation and add signage to hotel floors to remind guests not to smoke in hallways and rooms.

Room Tip: Select a room in the new wing, updated furnishings.

Stayed 1 night at the Nugget. Rooms and lobby were clean and folks were friendly, but our trip was mostly for a place to dress for the show and sleep to avoid the long drive home. Just a quick trip without enjoying a lot of amenities. Next time we may request the upgrade and experience more.

Room Tip: Our AC didn't work well and took longer to get the stuffiness to go away. Bed was not as comfy...

My husband picked out a room with a spa bath tub. What we got was a corner room bigger than any room I've ever stayed in. Unfortunately, the lay out of the furniture was not the best. The TV was VERY small for the size of the room. It also was not easy to see if someone was laying in bed and someone else was sitting on the sofa. That's right this room was so big it had a sofa and love seat. In addition, to several tables and a king size bed. Had they rethought the furniture lay out and put the right size TV and hung it on the wall instead of placing it in an entertainment center this rating would have been higher. The other downside was that the fan ran all night. It didn't seem to bother my husband, but it kept me awake all night. Had I only known I could have turned it off?

We were very pleased with our one night stay at the Nugget. The rooms were tastefully decorated and very clean. There are many reasonably priced restaurant choices. The pool is inviting and the workout center is well equipped. We hope to return soon and enjoy the Nugget for a couple of days!

Room Tip: The East Tower has recently been redecorated. Try to get a room above the 8th floor so your view is...
