This place is a dive! The red bedspread had dried white stains and cigarette burns all over it! The bed had a flat sheet, not fitted, so if you moved you were laying on a bare mattress! I don't have any back issues, but the bed was so hard that my back and both of my hips hurt the next morning. The floral patterns in the room were old, outdated, hideous and didn't match. This hotel needs a major remodel! I've stayed at Silver Legacy, Circus Circus and the Peppermill in Reno, and this place doesn't even come close. Not even an reasonably priced buffet to choose from! Ohhh...and it was a non smoking room but smelled like smoke. Honestly...I think you would be better off staying at motel six, at least it's clean.

Room Tip: Free airport shuttle.

Booked this property as a mystery deal on a website. This was the first stop on a road trip to Reno and Vegas. We were very happy with our stay here. The room was very good, clean and comfortable. The casino and restaurants were good as well. We would stay here again.

stayed here while in town to visit friends. nice joint no beefs. slots were a bit tight but did good betting sports. heavy snow in the sierra limited our touring. took a ride to paramid lake, then to gerlach in the black rook desert. real cool .stayed in the west tower room was good great shower.will book again when we return.

Room Tip: east facing rooms set above rail yard did not bother us we were on 22 nd floor

Being a very visually impaired person, I have nothing but positive things to say.
Was made to feel really comfortable, and received great assistance while there.
Felt safe and secure.

Room Tip: upgrade to the east tower. Closer to casino.

The Nugget has the best buffet in the Reno area. They have slot machines that still use coins instead of paper tickets. The coin slot machines added to the excitement of the casino experience. Hearing jackpot payouts with coins dropping make a player want to stay and play.

Book your room in the East tower. They have newly renovated rooms in this tower that were nice and comfy. We booked on expedia and it gave it us a free upgrade to a corner room. It was very nice. I would not attempt to go to the pool, there were about 1000 kids coming in and out of the elevator on saturday night. We loved our dinners at the Oyster Bar and Trader Dicks'.

Room Tip: East tower is renovated.

Stayed here because of good rates. Very close to Reno. West wing rooms were dated and beds were not comfortable. May try to newer East wing next time. Rosie's Cafe and Rotisserie Buffet both had good food, Rosie's faired better though

Room Tip: ask for rooms way from train tracks. East wing is newer but pricier
