My standard room was fairly basic but spacious for one person, a good place to come down from the Burning Man festival the week before. A standard TV, no fridge, with a large picture-window view of the mountains. The free Wi-Fi required userID and password each time one entered the zone...when the sign-in screen would even come up. Other than that, everything was fine. Access was excellent, with none of the frustrating key-card-entry or casino-maze features of some other hotels just to get to one's room. Elevators were adequate, with minimal waiting to go down or up. Parking was adequate and convenient; each wing had its own lot. Circus Circus was the most convenient hotel to I-80, along with a handy little combo of Starbucks, Subway and a couple of other eateries on Fourth Street, and was also was a quick walk from Rancho San Rafael Park and plenty of trails in one direction, and the Truckee River and some nice walking trails in the other direction. A 10-minute walk to Save-Mart supermarket complemented the choices. Reno has a lot more to offer a non-gamer than a lot of visitors think.
