“Good place to stay.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2013

This was a good location for us to stay. It was clean but there were three issues we did not care for: The front desk wasn't very friendly, the interior corridor was cold, and the room's heater didn't work very well. It took about two hours to warm up after we entered and it didn't do much in the morning. I reported the heating problem so hopefully it was fixed. We will stay at least one more time to see if they can get it right before trying another place.

Room Tip: Give this place a try.

Dear Allen,

Thank you for sharing your experience about your recent stay with us. Your business is very important to us and we value your feedback. By telling us what you liked about your stay and how we can improve, you are helping us deliver a superior experience for you and other guests in the future.

We are very glad to hear that our location is good for you, and please accept my sincere apologize for all the inconvenience caused during your stay. An appropriate coaching and counseling was addressed to our entire front desk team, to make sure all team members understand the importance to deliver a superior experience to all our guests consistently.

Comparing with the past few years, this is a cold winter for us. We have noticed the temperature in the public areas is low; we have ordered new heaters for guest rooms and public areas; as well as sealing materials to seal all entrance doors better. Thank you for your understanding and your patience.

We are looking forward to seeing you again in the near future!

Thank You and Best Regards,

Sally Cao

My daughter and I stayed here since we had an early flight the next morning. The room was nice but because of the cold shower (which I tried everything to get warm) I couldn't wash my hair and my daughter just skipped the shower. We also had the noise from the people above us pacing on squeaky floorboards and noisy till 4:30 am which kept us up all night. We told the man at the front desk and he didn't seem to be too concerned..only that he would "take care of it". (which he did not take anything off our charges) . The room itself was nice but b/c of the shower problems and the noisy floor above us it would be hard for me to give it more than 2 or 3 stars.

I have stayed here several times for business. It is easy to get to. Even though by the airport it is quiet. The rooms are large and the beds comfortable. In the winter or fall I would ask for an extra blanket at check in.

We used this airport-visible hotel, because of our early flight departure and because we could drop off our rental car a day early, eliminate the fuss, and save a day's rental as well. We were delightfully surprised at the quiet courtyard with pool, so close to the airport (literally across the street.) The staff is friendly and helpful, and the shuttle driver is efficient and great. The best part is the fact that the lobby is open and has pods to sit in for quiet reading, or you can pop into the hotel computer room or the restaurant or bar. If you know most RENO hotels, they are packed with one-armed bandit slot machines or gambling tables...nothing like that in this place. Peaceful, clean, no smoke, no noise. Definitely will be my choice the next time we are in RENO.

Room Tip: ask for a courtside room, looking over the pool and park.

My wife and myself stay at this hotel when we have an early morning flight so we can just walk to the airport. Our last stay about 4 months ago we could not get the water in the shower cold enough to even get in the shower, even after letting it run for 15 to 20 minutes. The guy at the front desk told me someone else had said the same thing that morning. So we flew to New York without a shower. This stay we could only get the shower luke warm at best. Got a quick rinse but no hair washing, At least I was awake after I got done. Going to find a new place to stay next time.

I Booked this hotel because we were attending a conference. It was really cold outside and the first thing I wanted to do was put the heater on and take a hot shower. The heater did not work in the hotel room and the water never got passed Luke warm. Then if you want your bedroom light to go on you have to put your key card in to turn the lights on and off Then it took 30 minutes to get the lights to turn off. I would not advise you to stay at this hotel.

it was very difficult to use points for this hotel. you could not call and make res on the phone. Only smoking rooms were available for points even though they had others available. My supervisor had to call Best Western customer service and have them help us get the desired N S rooms. Their website is not user friendly
