“Dinner before The Show”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2014

Our dinner was excellent - food was delicious - service was the tops. We would definitely return to try another selection from their menu.

“Fair”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014

We had dinner last night 7/20. I did miss grumpy the normal person to seat us with reservation.
He was not there but the food was fair not great. And $85 dollars later we were gone. For a few dollars more Loulu or Atlantis steak house would have been better. Sorry guys the food is just not that Italian and good !

“Cibo molto buono (Great food)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2014

We were brought to this gem by our friends. What a wonderful family run restaurant. We had a delightful Italian waiter (I didn't catch his name). The waiter added to the authenticity of the experience. Service and food were wonderful though I was disappointed that one of the specials on the menu wasn't available. Desserts were wonderful (a salted chocolate covered cheesecake and chocolate mousse). I'd definitely go back to this restaurant next time I'm in Reno!!!

“A Gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2014

In the land of big hotel hotel-casinos crammed with faux-lavish restaurants, it is nice to find a family run place with comfortable sophistication, super service and excellent food. This one would be a gem in any setting, but seems extra special in the midst of downtown Reno’s Virginia Street lost-glory glitz.
The menu provides an excellent Italian variety. Although it includes the requisite pasta dishes, it would be a shame to pass up the more complicated fare. Our food and service was flawless. The bread was exceptionally fresh (made on the premises?). The default by-the-glass Pinot Grigio wine was only adequate, but there is probably better stuff on the bottle list. This will be a stop for us on any future visit.

“Ordinary food but good service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2014

I dined here with a group of business associates. We were very wowed by our server who was very attentive, explained the menu, and engaged us throughout our meal. I read other reviews and was expecting TDF Italian. I was very disappointed. I ordered shrimp scampi and a Caesar salad. The salad greens were very tough and bitter. The croutons were too hard to eat. The dressing was sparse and completely lacked Caesar flavor. My scampi was very lacking in flavor - no garlicky, lemony punch. It was served with overcooked angel hair pasta. Nothing special at all.
