“Back in time to a classic steak house”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2013 via mobile

Pros
Efficient and accommodating staff
High skill level by waiters, chef and all
Perfect cocktails
Lots of showmanship in preparation of certain dishes, Caesar salad, steak Diane, cherries jubilee and I am certain others
End of meal chocolate presentation dramatic with the dry ice in water, fun
Food well prepared for the most part
If you ever wonder what a 70's steak house was like at its prime, this is it. Down to the red booths, dark lighting and waiters in tuxedos.

Con
One NY steak was very flavorful, the other rather bland and a little gristly. Luck of the draw, I received the more bland one. At another restaurant and at a lower price point this same steak would be acceptable. At $49 I expected the steak to be a taste sensation.

“Great steakhouse lives up to its 40 year reputation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2013

The staff here is wonderful, and many have been here 20+ years. The French onion soups is always a huge hit with everyone. Table-side steak Diane is both amazing to watch and eat. The Chateaubriand is classic. Somehow you have to save room for dessert as their table-side Cherries Jubilee, and fired bananas are a great way to end your meal. The there are their famous tuffles, which luckily you can buy boxes of to take home to your friends that couldn't join you on your trip.

“Old world ambiance, incredible food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

Try the Caesar salad for two prepared at the table. They make the dressing from scratch at your table. Then make your waiter prepare you Steak Diane at your table flambé like the old school.
This is a gourmet meal that you can't find anywhere anymore. Hot towels, amuse bouche, sherbet before the entree, chocolate truffles at the end.
The filet mignon, NY, Rib eye on the bone are my favorites. The plates come with a little veg on the side, so you don't have to order the sides. Which, by the way are delicious and plentiful.
