Enjoyed taking my Nevada resident parents, who hadn't been. Nice setting. View over railroad tracks was actually pleasant, with the native brush and rushing water below the restaurant making a soothing contrast with the tasteful internal decor. The menu is not expansive but covered our various desires. The pork belly starter was decadent and excellent. We had a variety of entrees. The duck confit was perfectly cooked, crispy outside and meat moistly delicious. Foodies will appreciate the evident thought and care that went into the accompaniments. The desserts were the weakest part of the meal, but still quite good. The vanilla ice cream was rich and creamy, I'll leave it at that. Clearly a winner if you are looking for a great experience far away from the casinos, a place where locals go to celebrate food with people whom they want to enjoy a moment. Not cheap, but worth it. The outdoor patio, AFTER the sun starts to set is a cool gem.
