“Great place to find conversation”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

This is a cool place that is located along the Truckee River in downtown Reno. It is casual and comfortable and you can sit outside and watch the river flow by if you choose. Not a lot of food but good for a pint of micro-brew and you always meet somebody friendly enough to have a good conversation.

“So comfortable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2014

Great beer, good music, wonderful staff, good food. An excellent non-casino riverside alternative in Reno.

“English country pub: Anerican style”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013 via mobile

With a hi-octane beer list and good prices especially at happy hour, this very casual riverside pub is a find. A touch of Europe without the pretense; twin TV screens at the bar with sports on; plenty of small tables inside & out, where you can watch every manner of people walk by. Food is more sandwich & chips fare but if you don't eat while taking in all that fine Sierra Nevada beer, you may fall into the river on the way home.

“Good drinks on the River Walk in Reno”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

Fun bar, good beers on Reno River Walk. Enjoyed the "bar crawl" with Super Hero theme. A good place for a beer and view of the river and people watching.

“My kinda place! Can't believe a review hasn't been written yet!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

I was actually kinda shocked this place hasn't been listed yet. It's a mainstay for me when I visit the Reno area. Sort of feels like a pub in Europe where you come in from off the street and are welcomed in by a friendly bartender. I have only been here in the winter months but I've got to imagine it's a great place to grab a pint by the river on a nice day.

They only carry the Sierra Nevada products exept for when they have some specials. When we were there it was the "end of the world" and they had a few specials on some unique brews. I love going to sit in the back room and grab a board game with some friends. It's just that kind of place where you can go to hang out. Feels like a den where you can just be yourself.

They're also local and part of a urban renewal project that's something to be proud of. Go check em' out if you have the chance.
