This hotel is gross. I don't know who wrote those other reviews, but they're lying. Maybe there is a different Quality Inn in Reno. The one I stayed at was old and icky. The rooms haven't been renovated since the 60s, and the sheets had stains on them. I was given a room right on Virginia Street, which is extremely noisey. When I asked to change rooms, they gave me a room with a broken air conditioner. It was literally 100 degrees that day and there was a wildfire south of town, so operning the windows was not an option. The people working at the front desk were extremely nice and helpful, however, which is why I didn't give it the worst rating possible. Fortunately, they let me check out and go to another hotel.

Just stayed here for 2 nights. This is an older property (probably 60's). However don't be too quick to reject it. The room was spacious and clean. The tub and toilet are separate from the vanity area (a real plus in my book). The vanity area is sectioned off giving you a little private dressing area also. The beds seemed fairly new and the decor was older, however in wonderful condition. I felt comfortable enough to walk barefoot on the carpet! We also used the pool and spa..they were quite nice. The pool was heated to near bathtub status! Each room has a little patio/balcony area with table & chairs. Really, this is a quaint older place. I will stay here again.

This hotel is a great value. We paid $55 a night and got a nicely-sized room with King Bed. The rooms all have patios opening to common areas that are pretty and well-maintained. Like a courtyard. The heated pool and whirlpool are just steps away. They were both very nice, large, and relaxing.
The hotel is sort of between downtown Reno and the Atlantis and Peppermill Casinos. It is convenient to both. The hotel is fairly close to what I'd call a lower-class part of town, but that didn't affect our stay.
My girlfriend commented that the mattress wasn't very comfortable and she didn't sleep well. I didn't have those problems, though.
Overall, considering the hotel's amenities and price, it is a 5 in my book.

This place was great! The rooms are big with refrigerators and nice balconies/patios that overlook the beautiful courtyard grounds. Also, something very rare these days, the rooms are spotless. Finally a hotel with a good housekeeping service. We saw the manger spot checking rooms after the cleaning service was finished.

The staff is super friendly and very responsive to every problem. We accidentally left our credit card at the front desk when checking in and before we could even call they were on their way bringing it up. Basically, this place is run and kept like a hotel should be. Very clean, very friendly and "old-fashioned" service.

The restaurant was excellent - we used our $3 coupons for breakfast both mornings and it is great home cooking.

The only one minor improvement that should be made is that it took a really long time to check in because the employee was a little to chatty about her personal life and it took way too long to check out. But, all in all, this place is great and I will stay there again.
