“Yum with a side of sweet potato fries”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2013

This place is great. The atmosphere and the food are modern, fresh and fun. You much order the sweet potato fries, I think they are the best in Reno. They have creative cocktails and are located in the heart Midtown, Reno's "cool" district. Forget casino food and come here. your stomach will love you for it.

“Top notch!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

My wife and I come here on a regular basis for date night and love the hip atmosphere and the great food. The rib eye steak is served with a unique bourbon peppercorn sauce and tastes amazing. The burgers are all incredible also, the lamb burger is my favorite with sweet potato fries. The food is reasonably priced and has a great mixology drink menu.

“Great burgers... good selection for brunch!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

We had the best burgers here and had been back thrice in our 2 weeks vacation in Reno. Service is friendly, decor of this eatery is unique with the bottles and canned jars for lighting and price was reasonable. We loved the French Toast with Bourbon Sauce, the Elk Burger and the Guacamole. On our second visit, the interior was full and we were asked if we minded sitting outside to which we gladly did. It was cool and nice sitting al-fresco for a change. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Reno.

“Unbelievably good burger”

One of the best burgers ever had. Kid friendly. Service decent. Love the spicy guacamole burger. Would go back next time I'm in Reno.

“Great beer selection besides interesting menu”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

We were on our way from San Francisco to meet friends at the Peppermill in Reno over the July 4th weekend. As usual, we were starving and just happened to pass by Midtown Eats--we saw a couple of tables out front with young people energetically eating. Fortunately, a table was open and we had a wonderful lunch -- fresh ingredients and a fabulous beer that really did have strong hints of chocolate, as the menu had suggested. There were different age groups eating there, and we thought the music was too loud especially for such a small restaurant with a number of children. The young people working there seemed to thrive on the energy of the music, which alas seems to be quite common for us older folks to try to enjoy. Parking was no problem so it was an almost perfect lunch after a long drive.
