“Great stay at Staybridge Reno”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2009

We stayed one night at Staybridge based on good reviews on this site and close proximity to the airport. We were not disappointed. This hotel is immaculate and seems brand new. It definitely caters to the business traveler but we enjoyed it as leisure stay.

The room we stayed in was spacious with full kitchen, living area and separate 2 queen bedroom. The beds are very comfortable and it was quiet.

Our kids loved the indoor pool with some pool toys at their disposal. Free laundry use was definitely a plus (bring your own detergent). They have a nice fitness room as well. There was an evening reception with snack foods, hot dogs, drinks (soda, draft beer and wine). The breakfast was very good with plenty of items to choose from.

If back in the Reno area, we'd stay here again.

We are on a business trip and decide to stay at Staybridge. We are very happy with our choice. Everybody here is very friendly and everything is working great. Place is brand new, clean, spacious, we have everything we need in the suite, and even a great view. The location is very quiet and beds are comfortable. Breakfast and dinner are included, and this is a good added value. The lobby is comfortable. The furniture looks nice and modern. We can only recommend!

Great business hotel, not near the downtown. Hotel is only 9 months old, so the rooms are very well appointed, and the beds and linens extremely comfortable. Front desk was very efficient and welcoming even with a late check in. Can't beat the breakfast either, much better than the normal cold cereals and pastries with eggs, waffles and sausage.

Love the business suites and the convenience and modern hotel.

During our most recent travel we decided to stay here. Its a little out of the way (7 miles south of the 395/80 junction located just off 395 in a business park) so if you want downtown Reno or close to the other casinos this isn't it. Its a business hotel but its a real diamond. The hotel is very new (opened in Nov 2008) so everything is brand new. The rooms are great. We stayed in the 2 bedroom, 2 bath, full kitchen suite. They have really thought about everything in detail. For example, the room guide contains the usual information but also includes easy menus for the kitchen and the hotel has a small micro-mart where you can get quick to make meals. They even include a Orville Reddenbacher microwave popcorn pack in the room. There is a manager's evening meal (from 530 to 730) on Tues, Wed and Thurs. Nothing fancy but a nice touch for the business traveler. And a buffet breakfast every morning includinig eggs, make your own waffles, fruit, cereals, sausage patties, cottage cheese, juices and fresh coffee/teas.

The staff was efficient and friendly making suggestions to help people's staff. There is an indoor pool and spa, a small gym and complimentary washers and dryers (you can get soap from the micro-mart).

There are flat screen TVs in all 3 rooms, wireless internet, and iPod radios in each bedroom. They run a weekend special rate and so it was a great deal for 2 bedrooms, 2 baths.

Again, its not close to the casinos but this is quiet and very comfortable.

The staff here is extremely friendly!! I was always greeted by name, and it made me feel like I was at home. Very inviting common area with a big screen tv, couches, & a fireplace. Managers reception 3 nights a week was a fun way to meet other people. Lots of cohoices for breakfast, both hot & cold. My room was spacious & clean. King sized bed & down pillows that were comfy. Great location, convient to downtown, Lake Tahoe, not too far of a drive to get to Sacramento & San Francisco.

Stayed here 3 nights over Memorial Weekend for yet another basketball tournament. Room we had was perfect for myself, husband, teenage son and 2 teammates. The room consisted of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, pull out sofa bed in living room and a full size kitchen. Bathrooms were decent in size, as were the bedrooms, especially the room with the king bed. Staff was helpful, and kudos to the staff keeping up with breakfast service over the weekend, I believe there were at least 5 basketball teams staying over the weekend and they kept them hopping trying to keep up with hungry ball players.
Location for us was perfect for what we needed, easy access to the interstate. Downtown is about 8 miles away, Reno airport about 5 miles I believe.
Nice patio area with 2 large bbq's. Also they offer free washer and dryers, that was a huge plus.
All parents from our group were very pleased with the property, no complaints.
