I have had the pleasure of staying at the Eldorado many times, but my last stay gave me the opportunity to revel in the best buffet in Reno. I was staying here to have some fun during the AFC/NFC football championships. My friend "Big Al" and I went from casino to casino looking for the most intriguing buffet, the one with the best seafood and inviting atmosphere, in the downtown area. The Eldorado hands down had the nicest dining room and the food was fantastic. From the piles of crab and shrimp to the prime rib and desserts, it was delicious. The staff was friendly and most helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed and were on spot to our demands. We observed the server in seafood area fixing up the food to keep the area neat and appealing. The $23.00 price made the meal all the better!

A friend had recommended the El Dorado Casino, so we decided to try it for our next Reno stay. The downtown location was convenient to the freeway. The rooms were reasonably priced but were not very big and were very noisy. We could hear everything from the hall, all night long. The restaurants in the casino were good and reasonably priced. Not enough parking in the parking garage.

We spent two nights earlier this month in a beautiful spa room that was truly extraordinary! We were celebrating our Anniversary and the entire hotel and casino staff went out of their way to make our stay very special and memorable for us. The value for the money can't be beat. They have our loyalty!

I made two stops at the Eldorado on my way to and from Las Vegas for a trade show with a friend. The room rates were very reasonable (mid-week). The rooms are a bit small, but for an overnight stay, they were just fine, with comfortable beds. The hotel layout is great - very compact and vertical - no long walks required. We ate in the buffet and it was fine plus very reasonable. This trip we did not venture out of the hotel but on other trips I appreciated the convenience of the hotel's location, right downtown with several other casinos near by you can walk to - Circus Circus and Silver Legacy you can get to without going outside. I will definitely stay there again
