“Good Experience Overall”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2008

Stayed at this property for 5 nights. Room was very clean and comfortable. Property was quite busy but always remained quiet. Staff was very helpful, Restaurant has a good buffet. Slots were pretty fun!

Stayed 2 nights at the Saddle West, Motel type complex with simply beautiful landscaping. All the staff that I encountered there were helpful and pleasant. Small casino, but my money lasted longer there. Drink Service was good and dining was priced right for the budget minded.
Rooms are clean and cozy.
Can't wait to go back in a couple of months.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2008

Stayed at the Saddle West mainly through lack of options on our recent trip from San Francisco to Las Vegas. Went through Yosemite and Death Valley on the way and ended up in Pahrump. All the other hotels in Pahrump were booked (it was a Friday night) so managed to get a room here. Glad we did in the end as the hotel is very good imho. We paid around 100$ including tax which i thought was good value. Check in was busy but the staff were helpful and freindly. The rooms were clean and quite large. The layout is typical motel but with a huge car park. The hotel has a casino, nothing fancy or that big, but get's you into the mood if you are on your way to Vegas. Breakfast was not included but is available either as a buffet or off the menu. Again nothing fancy but good value.

Overall recommended as a clean overnight stop before the final 1 hour or so run into Las Vegas.

It's a cheap hotel ($55 double queen). The room was clean. The Casino and lobby were smoky but the room was a no smoking one and it was clean. It's a good location if you want to make a stop between Death valley and Las Vegas.

Large quiet clean room. Price of $63 was a bargain for this area. Great breakfast buffet for $6.

We were in Pahrump last year and stayed at this hotel, and liked it well enough to go back again this year. It's a pretty basic hotel, with beautiful grounds and pool area. Rooms are adequate...we found them very clean.....we couldn't get a non-smoking room, however, we did not find the room smelly at all. (bonus). The food is fairly good, inexpensive and we found all the staff to be extremely friendly. This isn't your Vegas type casino, obviously, but that's not necessarily a bad thing!!!! We prefer the smaller casinos and although it's a little smokey at times, they do have a non-smoking section where you can play. Overall....an okay place to stay....not the Hilton, but not a dive, either. P.S. (we bought a home in Pahrump this year...love that little town).

Stayed April 2008
