Amazing food, great service and interesting decor with some pieces straight from Ireland,

They have a sandwich called the Morrisey that is to die for :)

“Used to be great - NOT ANYMORE”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2009

Last time we ate dinner at Kavanaughs it was about 9 months ago or so and the food was delicious! There's a great variety on the menu and we went there just yesterday again. When our patty melt came open faced with no grilled onions on it we were a bit surprised. Then we came to the "famous" Irish Fish and chips which SUCKED. the fish was paper thin and the breading was four times the fish's thickness and it was NOT cod. It was some thin cut - possibly tilapia that had been WAY over cooked. My husband got the assorted app platter for dinner and I've never seen potato skins come with olives, chopped tomatoes and cheese on them. Where was the bacon, cheese and chives? We should have known something was wrong when we walked into an empty restaurant and it remained that way until we left. I do not recommend this place anymore and its' a shame. We were informed that the cook was "NEW" in the back. Well, I'm no bar cook but I even know how to make a patty melt. Stay far away from Kavanaughs food.
