“4 Stars with a few caveats”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2011

This new, beautiful resort property just North of the Las Vegas strip is massive, well-designed, and beautiful in every respect. The staff is well-trained and keenly attuned to each guest's needs. Our room, with two king-sized beds was beautiful, roomy, and clean.

The pool area is one of the most beautiful we had ever seen in this country, lined with individual cabanas, futon-like chaise lounges, and a wet-bar.

The downsides to this fantastic property come in the fine tuning of the physical arrangements. Our room had a place for a refrigerator, but there was none. There also was no in-room coffee maker and the nearest locale for coffee in the morning was a fairly long walk through the omni-present casino. The bathroom faucet was placed too near the edge of the basin which guaranteed a flooded basin each and every time so be careful not to place anything on the basin. The shower had a 2 1/2 foot wall around it that you need to climb to get in our out.

Personnel-wise the only complaint we had during our three day stay was that at no time was our room ever visited by a member of the housekeeping staff. In fact, on our last night, I had to call the front desk and request a towel and some more paper cups (our room came with three paper cups and we had thrown them out). After check-out, I met with the Director of Hotels and she apologized and told me she was currently without a head housekeeper. We had even flagged our room with a "please clean room" sign but it was of no help.

Would we stay there again? Definitely but I will bring a coffee maker and not be so quick to discard the paper cups. All in all... a great hotel and a fantastic price.

I live in Vegas and decided to do a staycation and live close to the Aliante so booked a room for Saturday and was on the 9th floor preferred floor and what a beautiful room. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly.

Great hotel - we were passing through and didn't want to stop on the strip..... this place has everything you need at a great price - clean rooms, great pool and breakfast buffet. Make sure you book online, you'll save $30++.

Sunday champagne brunch buffet- $9.99 + tax + gratuity per person with "Station Boarding Pass". Great selection of food, continuous flow of mimosas, & oustanding service. Rene was our waitress and she was awesome.

Stayed 6 days at Aliante for a business trip, with lots of time for fun. 3rd stay at the Aliante and expect many more! Sure it's about a 15 min drive to downtown, but the value, peace of mind, and serenity make up for it. Was upgraded to an Ambassador Suite upon check in. Suite was spectacular! Huge jacuzzi and separate shower in large bathroom. A TV in the bathroom mirror-yes, in the mirror! Very spacious, well decorated, and extremely unique lighting. Bed was comfortable. 60 inch LED TV in living room and 42 in LED TV in bedroom. Room was great!
Casino is large for a locals place and spaced out well. Food court offerings good but expensive. Ate at Pancake House on premises each morning. Very good food and service but $25+ for 2 person breakfast each morning.
Dealers and Pit Bosses very friendly. Sports Book and bar good value. Buffet good.
Pool is very cool with salt water, very nice lounge chairs. Cabanas are available. Pool bar had decent prices and very friendly service- especially young Liz!
Yes, it's location is out of the way, but fun and a very good value. We went downtown and to the strip every night. Then, back to the peace and quiet of the good ole Aliante. Will stay again!

Go ont he website www.weluvlocals.com, and you can get great coupons for tis hotel. We got our rooms for only $14.99 each, so decided to try this resort as a staycation. The lobby was beautiful and the rooms were very spacious. We received a high room with a view without asking. Do request a room with a fridge if you think you will use it. The buffet was quick and easy to get into and had a wide eniogh variety to make everyone happy. My one complaint: You have to be 18 to go in the jacuzzi which makes no sense because the other Station properties do not have that rule. There was plenty of seating at the pool, and the lifeguards were nice to the kids. Overall, a great deal, and would say go for it:)

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a fridge

This is a beautiful place for people to stay in Vegas and keep away from the Strip at the same time. The hotel is new and very comfortable. The rooms are big and very well appointed. Instead of city views out of the window you get views of wild and pretty mountains. The staff is friendly and efficient. And if you still feel like gambling, you have a full casino downstairs.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the mountains and as high up as you can get.
