“Perfect Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2013

Went to Mesquite on a recent golf trip with a large group of guys. The Eureka was the perfect blend of quality and price. The hotel has been updated and is clean, comfortable and quiet. I was a bit concerned with a room on the first floor, facing the parking lot, and near the lobby. I slept just fine. The front desk employees were nice and helpful although a couple of them didn't smile much. The casino is adequate; there appear to be two main classifications of people there: regulars and golfers. The regulars know all of the dealers and vice-versa. It ain't Vegas, but then again, we weren't in Vegas. The table limits are very low which is nice if you're going to be doing a lot of gambling. The biggest surprise of all was the quality and value of the food at the restaurant inside the casino. I ate all of my meals there and it was always fantastic. Would return here for a golf trip in a heartbeat.

The Eureka Resort and Casino is a great property. It has been updated and has a fresh, classy look. Definitely the right place to stay for a golf group. Mesquite, Nevada is a wonderful golf destinatiuon without the high prices you pay in Las Vegas (80 miles away). The layouts are world class, especially WOLF CREEK GOLF CLUB ( 5 minutes from the hotel).

My husband and i always stay @ eureka and we love it but last week was the worst experience we had. The check in service was very poor. We walked in and the lady @ the front desk was talking to a man i think he works there but was off duty. She didnt greet us right she just asked us what do we need and when she was getting our rooms she continued talking to this man. When she was done she just gave us our keys and said enjoy your stay and quickly turn and continued her conversation with that man. She didnt tell us which way was closer to our room or if we have any questions. we think she was rude and very unprofessional. we love everything about eureka from the hotel to the casino to there seafood buffets on fridays but i think there front desk staff needs to go cause that lady sure dont belong there. When i go back i will get her name and put it up here.

My buddies and I have stayed and played at the Eureka for over 10 years now and its about time to give them credit for the great service they provide. Using them for our golf trips is so easy and the hotel has always been clean and the staff wonderful. A couple of years ago they remodeled and it really updated the hotel and added the spa. Every year when we leave we start thinking about returning the next year.

Room Tip: The garden rooms are a little higher but a great view and easy access to the pool.

Rooms very clean and modern. Lots of extras, hair dryer and coffee pot in the room. Beds were comfortable, pillows were too high for my liking but I slept very well despite of that. The front desk offers coffee and apples in their wifi room. Restaurant food was excellent and reasonably priced. Would diffidently stay again.

The hotel was quite clean and well decorated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and 2 jacuzzis were nice although the jacuzzis were a little on the hot side & the jets in 1 didn't work one night. The pool was cold ( but it was March). The fitness room is adequate but a little small. Would have given 5 stars but the rooms are a medium size (compared to other places we've stayed) and there is no fridge or microwave in the room.

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of the Eureka Casino Resort. I'm pleased you found the hotel to be clean, well decorated and the staff to be friendly. I apologize you found the room a little smaller then you're accustomed to. The hotel offers suites that are almost 3 times bigger than our standard rooms.

Sincerely,

Tim Marleau

My husband and I have just returned from "heaven". We had a garden room for four nights and were spoiled to the max. Our newly remodeled room was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, very modern, quite inviting and extremely comfortable. I loved the rain shower and jets. Having afternoon cocktails on the patio overlooking the pool was fantastic. From check-in to check-out we were showered with exceptional service. All personnel seemed to go out of their way to accommodate our stay. During our stay we had killer steaks at Gregory's; tasty fried chicken and yummy breakfasts at Mason Street. We didn't try the buffet since we ate at least once a day at Mason Street. The casino is just the right size and has a lot of slot/video poker selections. Table games offered additional choices. We cannot wait to return to this perfect place.
