Stayed two night march 12-13. Had a king room. The room was fine, nice bed. But, the hotel itself could use a good going-over in terms of cleaning and painting. Also, the breakfast buffet wasn't very good, not much variety or selection compared to the buffet at the Riverside, which was only 50 cents more.

We stayed here four nights while exploring the area. We are not gamblers, so the reasonable room rate was the attraction for us. The parking garage was very convenient and our room was comfortable, quiet and clean. A bit outdated, but quite functional. They do not have free wifi, but we had our handy dandy Verizon gizmo with us and that worked just fine. A visit to the Pool Side Cafe each morning for fresh coffee and a wide selection of pastries is in order. We will definitely return.

Nice hotel. Rooms were decent sized with a table and chairs. Very clean. The beds were comfortable. Furniture was a little beat up, but overall not that bad. Pool area was fantastic! During the day they had their huge television playing either music video's or sports. Large kiddy pool for those of you with kids, and for those without a large hot tub (18 and older only). The buffet at the motel was typical buffet fare, but the Italian restaurant has a fantastic pizza. Casino is clean. Laughlin is like being in a mini Vegas, but without the crowds. Be sure to check out the Riverwalk running along side the river. It's a nice little walk, sometimes there is free entertainment going on, and if anything the people watching is worth it! Bullhead City is right across the river with lots of shopping and restaurants. Reasonable prices. The only bad side to this hotel is the walk from check in to the elevators to the motel. It was a little bit of a hike. We did find out afterwards that the best way in after you register is to enter to the right of the main doors, skirting around the pool area. Alot easier trying to move luggage going this route vs cutting thru the casino. Love the casino, but not while trying to drag suitcases!

Room Tip: The higher up, the better! The elevators are quick, so there isn't a wait problem; and the view...

We just spent 2 night at the Tropicana Express in Laughlin. We found the room comfortable & quiet. We had read that they were newly renovated, but that must have been the other tower. The only free WiFi is on the main level, you have to pay extra per device in your room. The poolside cafe is a good place for coffee, you can get a punch card for a free 7th cup of coffee. Would look at staying here again.

Room Tip: The Promenade tower (this no not the adult tower only) is the closest to the covered parade.

I live in Vegas and have to travel to Lughlin now and then. I have stayed everywhere. I like the new rooms at the Trop and always stay in the adult tower. The beds are great and they have removed the old bath tub set up and replaced it with a walk in shower. Smart ! The people that work there are great, from the front desk to the bartenders. Also, don't forget to check out Carnegies Dining Car. It is a simple cafe/diner but the food is good and the service is as well. On the weekends, it gets a bit busy. By the way, Harrahs is also a good choice.

Room Tip: Stay in the Adult tower

Paid about $20 for the room on a weekday. Very nice room and bed, colors are a little dated but for safe parking and $20 you can't beat it! Will stay again without thinking twice. Also, staff was very friendly, the front desk manager was very accommodating.
