“Very reasonable hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

Couldn't really say anything bad about this hotel, couldn't really say anything good either!
Was very reasonably priced, was quiet comfortable, was quiet clean, staff were quiet friendly (except the bar staff who looked after us brilliantly) all In all it was an ok stay with no real highlights but I guess more importantly no low points! The pool was ok and clean water was very warm. We ate a few times at the buffet which was great value for money but like everything else did nothing really to stand out, with very average food. But I guess if you are looking for a safe bet hotel this hotel fits the bill. One last thing, Laughlin in General was a bit like gods waiting room so if your under 50 I'd seriously look at other options.

I stayed for 4 nights on the 26th floor in late Nov,2012.Good view of the desert valley, not on the Colorado river side.
Value was excellent @ $13.99 per night! New beds!
Room was basic, older, old TV, King bed, dresser, nite stands,closet.bathtub/shower.
Mostly older visitors.....those left that survived smoking, drink, gambling.
You can do the river front walk daily.....Hilton has a good buffet....
Hotel has game rooms downstairs.... buffet rest.
big parking lot.Great location.Pool downstairs.
People are friendly.
Hotel was mostly empty during the holiday week preceding thanksgiving.
I would recommend it for budget travelers.Such a deal!

If you like to play table games, this isn't the place for you. The only thing on the bottom floor, where all the games used to be is a Denny's, arcade, and a gift shop in the back corner. No food places beside Denny's and a buffet.

Rooms were okay, little beat down but nothing to complain about. You get what you pay for. Good rates, nothing exciting.

The best thing about this hotel is that it is dog friendly and very affordable. The rooms in the dog tower are definitely dated, but clean. Right outside is a "pet relief area". They do not have a weight limit for the dogs which some of the other pet friendly hotels have. We enjoyed our stay and will stay there again. Tropicana recently bought out the hotel so hopefully they will update it soon, but I hope they do not get rid of the pet rooms. Also, the beds were very comfortable.

The rooms and bathrooms are dated but clean. The bed was very comfortable. The channel selection was poor. The casino has all the average games. We like bingo and that's great at river palms. Dining selection is poor but there is a Denny's. The pool was clean and it closes to kids at 9pm. Will definitely stay again.

The rooms are average, clean. The pool is ok. Not much of a casino if you like to gamble. Denny's is open 24 hours, that is a plus. The casino is away from the other casinos. They have the lowest rates other than Pioneer...

Let me first start by saying I really did love the casino floor. They had a wide variety to choose from and a rather large non smoking area.
I'm not one for table games so I couldn't tell you much about that.
There was a large arcade room located close the a great view of the river.

The bathroom was large but the rest of the room was dated. The head boards of the beds had chipped paint and the down feather comforter and pillows seemed they were not washed properly. The stuffing was bunched and balled up. It made sleeping not enjoyable in the least bit.
The only place I ate here was Denny's and the staff there was pretty decent as was the rest of the staff in the hotel. Very nice and very helpful. We asked for a room close to the elevators and got just that with just a short wait.
