I'm not complaining, hey, we walked in and were given a room for $22 for a Saturday night, but the whole accomodation area was in need of a good wash and brush up, the lifts stank of must and were quite frankly filthy, the room key did not work, so I had to leave my wife with the luggage while I trooped back to the front desk to sort it out, which entailed Maintenance and Security attending, maybe they thought OBL was hiding in there because I don't think the room had been occupied for a while but it did have a lovely view of a wall. The casino was clean and tidy, but call me cynical, this is where they make the money. We went to the 24 hour restaurant, only to find they were short staffed and there was no drinks waitress, the table waitress did offer to get us one but could not say how long it would be before she got around to it, there was a Keno man wandering about who was practically suicidal, apparently it was his last night in the job and he was complaining how nobody had ever had a big win on one of his tickets and how dreadful a place it was to work for, I suspect with his attitude they were only too glad to be rid of him, we walked out then as I was reaching for the goofballs and managed to find the micro brewery in the place which is worthwhile. This was somewhere to put our heads for the night en-route from San Diego to LasVegas (scenic route) so considering what we spent it was good value, but I shall take a detour past Laughlin in the future
