Just returned from a 4 day trip to Laughlin. When we booked our room through a package, I was worried about the Belle after reading the reviews posted. A representative of the hotel assured me all rooms are clean & updated with guests clamoring to stay at the Belle. It wasn't an accurate portrayal. The rooms are very outdated, musty smelling, with tired linens and towels. We spent our gambling time across the street at the Tropicana Express as it was cleaner, brighter and much more appealing overall. We would not choose to stay here again.

The old girl is showing her age. This is a basic, low budget hotel that is in serious need of an upgrade. No coffemakers, hairdryers, or room service. Showers in desperate need of updates.

This is a good very basic stay. If you want a bed to fall into and nothing else this is a good choice. The staff is pleasant, check-in was quick and simple. Dining is ok ....did not try the seafood bar.

I'm not complaining, hey, we walked in and were given a room for $22 for a Saturday night, but the whole accomodation area was in need of a good wash and brush up, the lifts stank of must and were quite frankly filthy, the room key did not work, so I had to leave my wife with the luggage while I trooped back to the front desk to sort it out, which entailed Maintenance and Security attending, maybe they thought OBL was hiding in there because I don't think the room had been occupied for a while but it did have a lovely view of a wall. The casino was clean and tidy, but call me cynical, this is where they make the money. We went to the 24 hour restaurant, only to find they were short staffed and there was no drinks waitress, the table waitress did offer to get us one but could not say how long it would be before she got around to it, there was a Keno man wandering about who was practically suicidal, apparently it was his last night in the job and he was complaining how nobody had ever had a big win on one of his tickets and how dreadful a place it was to work for, I suspect with his attitude they were only too glad to be rid of him, we walked out then as I was reaching for the goofballs and managed to find the micro brewery in the place which is worthwhile. This was somewhere to put our heads for the night en-route from San Diego to LasVegas (scenic route) so considering what we spent it was good value, but I shall take a detour past Laughlin in the future

My husband and I just returned from two weeks of heaven staying at the Colorado Belle. Everyone was very helpfull and attentive to our needs . We walked the picturesque River Walk between the casinos enjoying the warm early November weather .We have been to Laughlin several times and found it very senior friendly . There is much to do in Laughlin if you do not want to gamble .

“Love the Casino... but TERRIBLE rooms... truly TERRIBLE.”

Colorado Belle Hotel & Casino

I found a terrific deal online, so I thought I would get away for a few days. I arrive, the casino looks beautiful... it hasn't changed in years, but it's truly lovely... I just love the casino space... really a pretty place.

After walking what seemed like MILES to get to my room, I open the door and I am instantly back in the 1970's. The room was clean and quiet, but so dated it makes you wonder how the hotel has been able to operate in such terrible condition. I mentioned it to the front desk and they said my room had NEVER been redone... NEVER!! And I'm thinking this hotel had to have been built in the late 70's.

Even the carpet looked original. Kinda old cheap mobile home brown in looks... truly a embarassment to the hotel industry... I have truly stayed at nicer properties in third world countries.

I would check out the casino again... but I will not stay.... a undated room only tells me this hotel is trying to take advantage of me and speaking of... charging for internet in this day and age in my mind is like charging for AC or CableTV like was done in the 1960's. NOT acceptable at all. And if you should end up at this property... You will truly not believe the miles upon miles of hallways... I've never seen anything like it.

Pay a little more and have a NICE vacation... rooms are cheap at Laughlin, stay at one of the nicer properties. (Harrah's.... Golden Nugget... etc)

By the way... I walked into the Riverside Hotel... if the casino is any indication to the condition of the rooms... I'd consider staying away from there too... truly the worst casino in town... and ugly.... who wants to spend time in a ugly building???? I don't get it.

    • Liked — The best thing is LEAVING this property after the vacation is over.... made me thankful that I live in a nice home...
    • Disliked — NOTHING... really... Nothing about the accommodation was worthy of my visit.
