“Very Rude Employee”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2010

not fair to say was employees in general since it was only one bartender that was one of the rudest people i have encountered. She left me with such a bad impression i cant help but hold it against the hotel in general. will never stay there again or even gamble there.

Spacious room with luxurious comfortable bed and nice soft pillows! Large bathroom. And we booked the $45.99 midweek bed and breakfast rate! We will definitely stay here again!

I stayed at the Aquarius this month. The hotel was ok--clean but nothing fancy. The slots in the casino were very, very tight. I did not see many winners at the slot machines. I went to several other casinos in Laughlin and found the gambling there to be much better than at the Aquarius.

Booked a room with panorama view, so on one of the upper floors. There are 2 towers, one for families and one for adults only. If you like less noise, book the last.
View on colorado river and rest of Laughlin nice. Visit Laughlin only for gambling if you don't go to Vegas, of as a stop on your way to LA. Nothing much to see otherwise.
Restaurant closed during our stay, one of the reasons we booked was the advert od the seafood buffet...
Fortunately there was a Panda express located in the hotel, nice food there.
Negative points: the swimming pool: small, very very dirty, towels on the ground everywhere, no life guards. There were security guards, but all they did was chatchatchat...

Nice casino with great rooms. However, don't arrive on Sunday nor Monday for that matter. In my opinon, these are considered bad day's for gambling and drinking. First, no was winning at the crap table, and the staff was only to glad to see you loose your money. Secondly, everyone that I saw was waiting, waiting, and waiting for drinks.I asked numerous times for the cocktail waitress, and was finely told by a valet person that the casino had been taken over by some bank. The staff had been reduced from 20 cocktail waitresses to 10.The velet parking staff had been reduced from 15 to 7. If your looking for a place to drink and have some fun don't stay here unless, your planning on keeping your ice chest nearby .Go to the ' GOLDEN NUGGET ' they know how to treat their guests.

We arrived early and there was no problem with check-in. Valet service was excellent considering the large amount of stuff my wife carries on vacations. We were in our room in 10 minutes. Rooms were very comfortable all with a nice view. Pool full of attractive women as compared to a view of the River. Hard choice. Gambling was fair and fun. Didn't get rich but did win some nice jack-pots. Food in Laughlin is at best fair. Great hamburger place across the street. Easy access to all casinos and made the loop. For a great meal we drove up to the Steak House at the Circus-Circus. Spent more on that meal than we did for the entire stay at the Aquarius. We were in town for four days. There is a Sam's Club across the river in Bull Head City so you can get a gallon of Jack Daniels Black Label for $32. That's about all you need to do in Bull head City.

Will be staying at The Aquarius on our next trip.

The place seemed nice from the outside. Our room was nice with a good view of the river.

We tried the buffet on Thursday night and it was the worst I've had. All the food was dry and overcooked. They also charged full price for our 4 year old.

They are also not very kid friendly.

The so called gym was terrible. The only exercise bike was broken and they have no treadmill. Just a weight set. Also there was no A/C.

The internet connection was so bad, it makes dial-up seem fast. I had them remove the 11.95 charge for it.

The boat parking is such a hassle. You have to find an attendant anytime you come or go. It is very crowded with little room to maneuver.

This is the first time I tried this hotel since our watercraft group was staying there. It will also be our last.
