The food was terrible, definitely not fresh.
Inside didn't look clean. Outside looked better, but who would sit in 115' heat?
Our non-smoking tables was adjacent to several smokinng ones. We had to leave in the middle of dinner, mainly because of heavy cigarette smoke all around us, and especially my small child not eating, having never been exposed to 10 or more people around him smoking at the same time. We asked the waitress -and later the manager- if we could move to one of many available tables further away from smokers. They both got upset and showed inappropriate childish manner.
I have eaten in Joe's NewPort and was ok. I definitely don't recommend this place to families with small children, or anyone looking for a decent food.

Always like the food however, the service seems to be the same at EVERY Joe's.... SLOOOOOW! Only go if you have the day and time to waste.

We had a great time at Joe's Crab shack! Beautiful huge patio over the river. Service was very slow, though, and even though it was not busy, our server was not attentive at all. But we had a good time. Great location.

This was a great place for a large rowdy group to put the feedbag on! Lively atmosphere and large portions. Will be very nice when patio opens and you can sit on deck.
