This was the worst place I have ever stayed at. I read some reviews about the Plaza before I booked and realized that it wouldn't be much, but at least it was cheap. Besides, I was in Vegas right? Who stays in their room that much? So, even going into it my expectations were very low, but our actual experience was even worse. When we got there the front desk service was slow and one of the girls was watching the baseball game instead of helping the people behind us. When we finally got our room keys, we got on an elevator with broken beer bottles and beer on the floor and headed to our room. The wallpaper in the halls were peeling and there were mystery stains on the carpet. Our room was lacking to say the least. The A/C was running and it was freezing, there was a pull out couch-bed and no shower. Just a sink with shampoo next to it and some wash clothes. Most of the lights didn't work and the back of one of the chairs was falling off. We had problems with the door locking when we left and then one of the nights we got back we got locked out and had to go to the front desk twice to get them to fix it. The first time, he just remagnatized our keys and sent us on our way. The second time we talked to the manager and he sent a maintenance guy that we waited 20 minutes for. The walls were also paper thin. The room next to us had the TV on really loudly the entire time we were there and the room cleaning staff were loud and inconsiderate. The first night we stayed and realized how bad this place was, we asked the front desk if we could upgrade and he said they were booked for the weekend, which I couldn't believe. The only people I would recommend the Plaza to are people that are strictly looking for a place to sleep for cheap and have no expectations for the limitless disappointments of this establishment. Next time I'll just stay in one of the motels if I want to not pay much for a room. At least then I'll get a real bed and a shower.
