“Just what we needed would stay again”

Came here with friends for a few days. The hotel was fine not amazing but had everything we needed included a mac d when we were a little merry. Room was spacious for 3 of us and clean just what you need. Price was good would stay again

We stayed in Vegas for 11 nights. Check-in was very simple and we were in our room in less than 10 minutes. Our room was cleaned daily and we were very satisfied with the service. The people working in the casino and lounges were all very nice and accommodating. One of the pools was left open (even in December and January) and it was heated. There was also a hot tub available. Check out was fairly simple. There was a long line-up and only a few people working at the reception in the morning. The location is great, and we had all amenities close by. We chose the cheapest room available, and so we only had a view of the other attached buildings, which is to be expected. We used the fitness room for free everyday.

We booked during New Years so of course everything was expensive so we opted for the older of the two towers. It was in serious need of an update. The toilet ran the heater was super loud to the point where we had to turn it off to sleep. The furniture was old and dresser was missing a handle. The internet was plug in. I will say that the beds were very comfortable. We also found the public areas ( hallways and elevators) to be kind of dirty and not well maintained. Plus for some reason the Starbucks in hotel did not except all Starbucks cards the entire 4 days. They had a sign at both hotel locations saying that their machines did not work. Two minute walk to NY NY solved that. This is my second stay here but probably my last.

First time at this hotel. Really recommended as the hotel is amazing with arcade for kids, tournament of kings show must seen, also with lots of food choices, and amazing shopping!!! Will return again in future.. Also price of rooms amazing!!

This is one of the more outdated hotels on the strip and seems likely to be knocked down soon. It's old and smelly, and the recent effort to update rooms with newer furniture was cheap. You can't wallpaper over holes in the wall nor vacuum 30+ years of smoke away. I stayed here out of desperation during CES week, and in retrospect it wasn't a good choice even if cheaper.

There is NO WIFI in this hotel! I had to laugh about the preview reviewer who commented ("No wifi. What is this, Somalia?") but I'd like to add that Somalia has many hotels with wifi today.

this was probably the 6th or 7th time we have stayed at Excalibur when visiting Vegas over the last 15 years. we most def are not high end players, thus the decision to stay there. in the past, we stayed at NY NY, Monte Carlo and Luxor when the company paid the tab, but when we pay, my husband chooses to leave any extra cash on the craps table!! Main reason we like this place is the LOCATION. we never rent a vehicle so LOVE the location! Last month, our room was clean and the bed and PILLOWS were comfy. find the people trying to sell shows/whatnot at the entrances VERY ANNOYING and wish they weren't there. just ignore them. the décor of the place is very not cool, but way better than it was 10-15 years ago....definitely showing it's age. we figure that we are not in the room that much so as long as it's clean and not nasty, it will suffice. we have NOT experienced bed bugs ever here, but if it did happen, I would tend not to want to return. again, it is the best location for those of us who walk a lot and like that it is close to McCarren Intl......and the value is pretty awesome.

I booked a room for 3 people for the New Years celebrations back in June. When we arrived on Boxing Day only 2 of our party could make it and they said they didn't have the room we had booked available so they put us in a tiny room with one bed and said we would have to come down next day after 11am and see what was available. This on its own was unacceptable as we wanted to be up early and out for the day not waiting around a hotel reception changing rooms and moving luggage. But when we got to the room we discovered it had not been cleaned since it's last occupants with the bin still full of rubbish, filthy towels in the bathroom, no toiletries and worse of all no clean bedding. The sheets on the bed still had hairs on them from last use. I went to reception twice to complain but was told they couldn't do anything until the next day. Obviously booking a room 6 months in advance isn't enough time to guarantee what you have asked and paid for in advance. Here's one family from UK who won't be visiting Excalibur again!!!
