“Daughter's wedding in Vegas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2013

15 of us all stayed here in Mirage Hotel for our daughter's wedding on 26th September. The rooms are very spacious and clean and most have good views of the strip or the pool area at the back. The location is brilliant! Very central for everything as its on the centre of the strip so you can walk either way. Bed very comfortable. We had Queen beds but our daughter had a King bed which was huge! We organised with Management to have flowers, champagne and rose petals scattered on the bed for their wedding night which was carried out (although at a high price!). The cast of Towie were filming there whilst we were staying there and it made our daughter's day when they agreed to have photos with her! If we came back to Vegas we would definitely stay at the Mirage again.

Room Tip: Higher floors have better views.

Stayed at the mirage for the first time, have stayed at over 20 other hotels in veags, and the mirage exceeded all of our expectations. Rooms were very clean and well updated, casino floor was just the right level of busy, Paradise Cafe by the pool was outstanding!

Room Tip: The Tower Suite is an awesome value for the room you get, 1100 square feet, and costs much less than...

My fifth stay in Vegas but first time at The Mirage and I'm converted. You can't beat the location, the hotel smells good, the eating places are varied and the room was classy and comfortable. The beds are great and we had a fab view of the strip from the 22nd floor. Like many other reviewers have mentioned, do not touch the items in the minibar lest you be charged automatically (they're on a sensor) & unfortunately they leave no room for your own water or milk, but they do supply an ice bucket and ice so we coped. Didn't use the pool
But it looked lovely. Expect to pay the resort fee here which includes a fairly good wifi connection. Parking was free & close to reception. Good transport options out front too. Great stay!

Our original booking was for 2 rooms adjoining as we have 3 children and 5 could be accommodated in 1 room. Upon checkin we were told that yes we had 2 rooms but on separate floors! We argued we had booked and pre paid months in advance. They explained that a conference had taken all there rooms. After some more heated discussion we spoke with the manager who understood being separated from children on a family vacation was not acceptable. He then rectified the situation by putting us in a 2 bedroom suite in the top floor. The room was nothing short of amazing. Huge beds, living room, dining room, 2 Huge bathrooms and even it's own bar. It was like something out of the movies. Would just like to thank the manager who turned a potentially very bad experience into one that we will always remember.
The rest of the hotel also offered great facilities. Swimming pool was amazing but can get a little inappropriate (if you have kids with you). The restaurants with Mirage are fantastic. We tried cravings buffet and the food was great. Location is also great. Right on the strip adjacent to Caesars palace not far to Bellagio. Siegfried and Roy dolphin habitat was great for the kids but it does cost extra (slightly reduced if staying at mirage)

Since I am required to use specifics and I want my review to be seen I will write this again. My wife and I visited Las Vegas for the first time. We left California on the 8th of October, 2013. We bought a packaged deal with Southwest Airlines which offered good price. We stayed at the Mirage for two nights. The site promised $20 dollars in vouchers but did not give any. But we did get charge $25 per night as promised. We did not want to argue so we paid the fee. However we did walk to Harrah's and they kindly gave us $150 voucher which we used for our meals. The stay at The Mirage was okay. It was not the 4.5 stars ratings that made us book the hotel. It is overrated. There wasn't anything impressive about this hotel and casino. I definitely won't be visiting The Mirage again. Average isn't bad but if your going to spend your money why not get the best value for your dollar.

Thank you for taking the time to let me know about your Mirage stay. I am sorry to hear that you and your wife did not enjoy your stay. I also apologize for the miscommunication and inconvenience of the $20 voucher and the surprise of $25 daily resort fee. If you can please email me at Tripadvisor@mirage.com. I would like to speak with you more about the details of your stay and to personally address your concerns. I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you for your review.

We stayed here for 6 nights and I will admit it wasn't our first choice but our usual Vegas hotel (Caesars Palace) was far too expensive this time round so we chose the Mirage based on reviews and price and we were more than happy with our choice.

Check in was speedy, no queues or hold ups. We had a Resort Tower Deluxe room on the 25th floor with a view of the pools and the Strip. The room itself was clean and well maintained, I loved the jacuzzi tub and the fact that the window opens just enough to let in some fresh air.

The hotel is in a great location so it's really easy to get around to other hotels, bars, restaurants and attractions. There are a few bars in the hotel and plenty of places to eat too.

If I have to add one negative comment it would be that the sun beds around the pool are far too close together, if you don't manage to get an end bed it can be quite awkward especially if you have bought a bag down to the pol with you. Also when we were there the poolside service was very slow, there only seemed to be a couple of people serving which didn't quite work as the pool was very busy.

All the staff we came across were very helpful and polite and we would definitely consider staying here again.

I reserved a specific style of room with a king-size bed about 3 months ago. When we arrived, we were told that our room wasn't available. We were given the option of a room with 2 queen beds, or wait 3 HOURS for our requested room.
The desk clerk was unhelpful in resolving our issue, so we wound up with the room with 2 queen beds.
I won't stay there again, and suggest others do the same.
