“Excellent Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed today NEW

Amazing experience. First I spent 2 nights in a beautifull suite, the bed was amazingly comfortable. The bathroom is huge and clean. We had breakfast downstairs and we enjoyed every bite. WIFI = great! The staff are professional and friendly. After that I spent 3 (business) days at this hotel and I enjoyed it a lot.

I will never stay at another property in Vegas. This hotel is everything you could want and the accommodations are spacious and beautiful. The property is amazing and scenic and the staff could not be more friendly. You could spend a day just walking through and admiring and photographing the amazing artwork throughout. The attention to detail is amazing. I have been in many properties in this town and, to me, cannot be beat.

We booked four rooms for eight people arriving Saturday, April 25th for four nights. I was a little surprised by how many people were checking in at midnight, but I figure it's Vegas and no one is watching the clock anyway!

This Italian themed property is romantic and magical for couples and families. As we walked into the hotel we where transported to Italy. This property spared no expense, from the marble flooring and cathedral ceilings with breathtaking artwork.

We asked for rooms on the same floor and were granted our request upon check in. As we were greeted, we were informed that in addition to the $25 per night resort fee plus tax, they would also require $100 deposit for incidentals in the form of cash or credit card. This is standard at many resorts and we were not surprised.

The luxury king suite (at 750 sq. ft.) was large enough for some of our friends to hang out in the living room and have a cocktail without feeling cramped. Not to mention, there are three televisions and an ipod dock for your entertainment. The beds are comfortable beyond belief, the sheets are soft and pillows plentiful. The closet held the location of the iron/ironing board, safe, several hangers for your clothes. To me the best part was when you opened the closet and the light popped on. Ooooh! Fancy!!

The bathroom is very spacious and beautifully decorated. Complete with separate toilet, tub and all glass enclosed shower, double sinks and a vanity, great for a couple to get ready at the same time or parents with small children.

The living/dining room area had a sleeper sofa, two chairs, dining room table with three chairs and a desk with chair. I loved how much space we had to stretch out anywhere throughout the suite.

The two reasons I gave this resort 4 stars is because of their mini bar setup and the limited choices for their pre fixe breakfast menu.

BEWARE of the mini fridge/bar! It is all on a sensor and if you touch it, you bought it!! Seriously???

We booked their "in suite breakfast" promotion directly through the hotel. I really enjoyed ordering room service everyday, but sadly the breakfast was just mediocre and boring. Same thing day after day. You have your choice of meat (sausage, ham steak or bacon), 2 eggs your way, home fries, white or wheat toast, coffee or tea and your choice of juice. The room service attendant was always friendly and setup our table with linens and china before we ate. Nice touch!

The pools were large and we always found a lounge chair. The pool attendants are great and always willing to lend a hand or give a fresh towel. The drinks at the pool are pricey, but I guess you get what yo pay for.

I believe I would stay at the Venetian again, just not the breakfast package and wouldn't sneeze around the mini bar without freaking if my card was charged!

Room Tip: view of the strip

We visited the Venetian Resort during our stay and took advantage of the Gondola boat ride through the canal that is carved out in the middle of the hotel. What a romantic experience as we rode with our knowledgeabel guide who also serenaded us with an Italian selection. I recommend the Gondola boat ride for all couples. The shops inside the Venetian and the sky replica ceiling allowed us to experience a taste of Venice in the center of Las Vegas.

We recently returned from a stay at The Venetian and can't say enough great things about this property! We arrived early in the day and were pleased with the pleasant check-in experience. We were quickly provided with an upgrade room with a beautiful view of the south part of the Strip. Fantastic! (Thanks Kai for treating us well and giving us such tremendous service!) As mentioned previously, every room is a suite so you feel like you have hit a home run with your room - so having this and a view make is truly magical. The beds were very comfortable. Our room included a daily in-room breakfast - we so enjoyed this each morning. If you have this option, definitely call the night before with your order and time you would like it delivered. Ours arrived promptly each morning and was set up at our table for us to dine and enjoy the view. It is true that you want to be above the 28th floor at this property to truly enjoy a view of the famous Vegas Strip. All staff that we were involved with were gracious and friendly - very much there to make your experience a wonderful one. The Venetian itself has so many things to offer - no matter your interests: Amazing pools, bright casino, superb dining options, and loads of shops. When you do want to explore the other delights that Vegas has to offer, you will find that the Venetian is wonderfully located mid-Strip. There is a Walgreens outside of the front doors where you can find most anything (including alcohol) that you might want. Of any property in Vegas, this one tops them all!! From the amazing service to the services you can enjoy while there, it can't be beat. I can't imagine staying anywhere else on our return!

The Venetian and its staff were professional and courteous. One employee, Rose Dione, of concierge services exceeded expectations. When we first met her she helped us with the usual reservations for dinners and show. She was polite, pleasant and professional. Later when we had an issue and were unable to attend a prepaid show just a couple of hours before its start she went above and beyond. I had hoped to give our tickets to staff knowing that it would be impossible to get a partial or full refund. She just looked up and said "all they can say is no". Much to my pleasant surprise she was able to get a full refund.

Rose could have simply took the tickets and given them away - as I asked. She did more and her efforts are truly appreciated.

Besides the room fare you have to pay a resort fee that includes wi-fi and other hotel services.

Room Tip: There are two towers; Venetian and Venizia, pick the first one as the view is better
