“Beer good, food not so much”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013 via mobile

Visited Tuesday night Round 9pm and it wasn't very busy. Sam Adams Oktoberfest was very good, soup and grilled cheese was ok, soup had been heated up in a micro, grilled cheese done in a pan (who does that nowadays?) kettle chips were good, wife's flatbread was over done slightly but topping was good. Not sure if it was the chefs night off but they could certainly do better on the food. Service was also not overly friendly.

“Good Beer and Good Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2013

Wife and I went to Hennessey's while on Freemont street, we had drinks and got a bite to eat. She had the Sheppard's Pie and said it was DAMN GOOD, I had the Fish & Chips which were pretty tasty too. We had a very nice waitress and the place wasn't real crowded. Wish the band that was there would of played some good ole Irish Jig music though, but they sounded decent anyway. I would return to this restaurant again if ever on Freemont Street.

“Happy Hour!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013 via mobile

Mike the bartender was awesome. He made up for a prior bar experience earlier tonight by going above and beyond what was expected. Our happy hour experience at the bar was one of the best in our Fremont Street experience. We did not stay for dinner as we had reservations elsewhere. We would have stayed longer though.

“location is good, otherwise...meh”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

the best part is sitting outside when its cool enough to enjoy it. the street crowd makes the outside nice if you're with a conversational group. otherwise its a bit overpriced, and the food is average. overpriced for drinks especially..

we had burgers and fries, standard pub fare nothing really stands out. service is average.
