“Wonderful hotel..... terrible staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2013

This was our first time staying at this hotel. We arrived on a wednesday late in the evening and went to check in. The girl who helped us at check in was very nice and advised that all of the king room were booked already for the evening even though that was what our reservation was for, however being that our arrival was so late we understood and agreed that a room with 2 queens would be ok for the evening. I then inquired if there was a way we could upgrade for the night to a king room so she looked and once she was done she looked up to inform us that it would be $70.00 a night, which was great, I even said aloud when confirming with my spouse that it was only a few dollars more a night then we were already paying and delighted we took the room. One the way to to the room we had wondered if it was just for that evening or the whole stay so the next day we went to the desk to check, also concerned about a new pending charge to the room we went to the front desk to inquire and the man who helped us was helpful and did confirm that upon checkout one of the holds would be released and did confirm the amount that showed due for the stay through that point, which was correct and matched our calculations. The next day upon check out we were very upset to find out that the girl who helped us at check in along with the man who confirmed the same information were both inaccurate and that we were going to be charged an additional 70 per night which is out of our budget and finding this information out at the end of our trip was very VERY upsetting as we have 4 children and have a strict budget we have to follow to make ends meet. We loved the room, it was clean and comfortable, but all in all, the service they provided once they had taken our money was that of arrogance and very unsympathetic, not once did they come to clean our room or give us new towel during our stay, however the first day we requested not to have it cleaned since we had just arrived late the evening before, however no one came back any following day for cleaning, and the buffet was terrible. I may stay there again for the value and the location on the strip, but won't expect service to be anything but sub par.

Recently returned from a family trip. We booked 3 rooms (1 was a petite suite, the other 2 rooms were connecting ones). Both checkin and checkout moved very quickly (must of did both at a good time). Beds were very comfortable and rooms were clean. Petite suite had 2 bathrooms and was a good size. Small fridge held half gallons of milk and some small soda, water bottles that we got from an easy walk across the street from Walgreens. Also bought a coffeemaker from Walgreens too. Saved alot of money just from making our own coffee each day. Housekeeping was good. Buffet was excellent for both breakfast & dinner. Great location on strip .Pool was closed for the first 2 days we were there. Tram to Mirage didn't work the entire stay . Resort fee of over $300 for the 3 rooms though-not worth returning to TI.

Room Tip: Petite suites are more spacious

Traveling to Vegas on business. Needed a room on the strip. Found a good price at TI and went for it. The room was clean and comfortable. The parking lot had ample spaces, although it is a bit of a walk. It was convenient to get to other locations on the strip. I slept well and the Internet was fast, so all in all it was a great experience. A few negatives - The "Siren's" show in front was really lame, I watched for a minute and felt dumber for it so I went down the road to find something worthwhile to do. Also the walk to the parking lot got old after my third trip, but that's common to anywhere you stay on the strip. Finally, there was a long line at checkin.

Room Tip: A lower floor is a shorter elevator trip. The view is good regardless.

Great location on the strip, which is why we booked here. We had stayed here once before years ago and it was nothing special, nothing luxurious, thought we would try it again as the price was right.
Check in line once again, horribly long.
Room was comfortable enough - beds comfy, (nice bedding) large bathroom with tub and the rooms were kept very clean. But, there was a stench of cigarette smoke in our non-smoking room that was unpleasant and made for us not wanting to be in our room at all. It was coming through our vent system which was right beside my bed and made for terrible sleeping. I brought this up at check out and they really could have cared less.
The room really needs a coffee machine. It did have a fridge but we did not really use that at all.
Resort fee of $28/day has to now be paid upfront, by cash or credit card.
The hotel itself could use some updating - I overheard many people say they felt "closed in" at the TI and I did note that the ceilings inside the casino are terribly low. Again, smokers everywhere. Next time we are staying at Trump where there is no casino at all, just to avoid that horrid, unhealthy smell of cigarettes.

Room Tip: Higher floor is always nice - we were on the 33rd.

TI as Treasure Island is referred to offers a lot for a great price!! Loved my room, had the petite suite- amenities perfect for my visit for business. Right in the middle of the Strip, TI has lots to offer: the nightly Siren show, good eats even for late nite! Enjoyed my stay here!

Stayed at TI for three days in mid-March. We got a great deal through groupon that included tickets to their Cirque show Mystere which was wonderful. Checking into the hotel was quite an ordeal, the wait was over an hour to check in which was a pain. Our room was very nice and clean with great strip views. We had an issue with the shower but maintenance was able to come and fix it almost immediately. We tried on two separate days to eat at the restaurant "The Coffee Shop" inside TI. On both days we waited in line for 20 minutes to get a seat, once inside we waited another 20-30 minutes without being able to flag down a waiter to even take our drink orders...so we left. Overall, it was a nice hotel, pool, and casino for the money but I would definitely dine elsewhere and beware of long waits for checking in.

Just returned last week from our stay at TI. Our DS and DIL were with us and I had reserved 2 Petite Suites. Upon arrive the check-in lines were EXTREMELY long but actually ended up taking about 30 mins. which wasn't too bad. At first I was told that they didn't have 2 suites that were smoking, which I did request and also wanted 1 with a strip view for our kids and was told that wasn't available either. Well, needless to say, I wasn't too happy considering I was spending a decent amount of money for both suites. Then the gentleman at the counter could see that I wasn't happy so he said that he would "be right back" and when he returned he told me that they had the 2 suites I wanted - amazing how all of a sudden they were available! Oh well, enough said about that, was just happy to get what I requested. The Petite suites were great! Loved having 2 bathrooms and one with a large jacuzzi tub too! Also liked have the mini fridge too, it came in handy. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel/casino very much! It isn't as big as some of the others, which was fine with us. They have a number of restaurants on site too. We did eat at the buffet for dinner, which was pretty typical of a buffet, however, they had AMAZING b-b-q ribs! We also ate at the 24 hour coffee shop, typical foods, nothing to rave about, but service was very slow and they weren't even busy. My DS and DIL ate at the pizza place and they said it was really good. We didn't use the pool because it jus wasn't warm enough for us. Overall this was a great stay and would stay here again.
