“This is "My" Hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013

I have been going to Las Vegas for over 20 years and I go at least once a year. I have stayed at many of the hotels but I am stuck on Treasure Island. My casino hostess Katie is the best and she takes excellent care of me. The Treasure Island hotel is located smack dab in the middle of the strip. It is next door to the Fashion Show Mall, and the TI has the tram that goes back and forth to the Mirage. TI has plenty of great places to eat and there is a Ben and Jerry's Ice cream shop where you can get a late night Banana Split, sundae or waffle cone! The Kahunaville restaurant (across from Ben and Jerry's) is my favorite place to eat breakfast. The coffee is excellent and the service has always been superb! If you just want to grab a quick muffin or pastry and a coffee, there is a Starbucks inside TI and also one outside by the main entrance. You can also grab a cup of coffee at the bar in the casino area. Speaking of the casino area, TI has a huge casino and they have plenty of slot machines and table games.
At night, there is a show outside of the casino onto a wooden deck called Sirens of TI. It starts at 7pm and goes every hour and a half until the last show at 11:30. Fun times always in Vegas at the TI. I'm off again to "My" hotel next month! : )

Room Tip: When you stay on the strip, ask for a Vegas strip view room. It is a little more but worth it!!!

We recently spent 4 nights at Treasure Island (TI) in Las Vegas. The hotel check in was quick and we got a great room with view on the 35th floor. Rooms were large and comfortable. There was a $25/night/room charge which included free internet and use of the fitness center. I guess this is a normal charge at any of the hotels on the strip. The location was perfect. Right in the heart of it all and walking distance to most places. Pool area was gorgeous. The place was clean and well maintained. Fun restaurants on site to choose from (Senor Frogs, Kahunaville, Gilley's). Also a buffet restaurant and a thai place. Starbucks inside and out front of TI as well as a Margarita Bar. Shopping too. Great Pirate Themed show nightly out front of hotel. I highly recommend it!

We arrived for one weeks stay on Saturday 30th April at 6.30pm..We checked straight in...very friendly welcome. Our Room was on the 23rd floor with a Strip and pool view...Totally Fantastic. The room was pleasant and nicely decorated. The Bigger than usual Bed was sooo Comfortable. We headed straight for Gilleys bar where we ate and drank, we had a very nice meal there too. Also The Senor Frogs Bar on the front is good for a drink. After a really good nights sleep we had breakfast in Kahunaville resturant there..again a very nice breakfast and a very friendly waitress. We had a Totally Lovely stay in Treasure Island and would recommend anyone to stay here. The Location on the strip is great for everywhere. The Bus Stop is 2 minutes away. After Hours out and about it was nice to come back and use the outside pool for a few hours. Rooms are cleaned Every day. The Sirens show every night is well worth a look at..and The Ladies Mud Wrestling is good for a Laugh! If you want to book any Trips to the Grand Canyon we used the Booking Booth outside the Hotel and had two great Trips .A Very Happy Customer. Thanks T.I .

Room Tip: The Strip View is well worth The Extra...

First time to Vegas for us, and we had a great time, Thanks to the great people at Treasure Island! The food was top-notch, staff was super friendly and helpful. The Sirens of TI show was cute too! The entire hotel was always clean. Prices were reasonable for what they offer. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends :)

Room Tip: Our room was on the 19th floor. Only drawback was waiting for the elevators. We never had to wait...

My husband and I arrived at 10:30PM to check in at Treasure Island, and from the start, we knew we were at the right place. We had booked a regular room, but thanks to the magic "$20 Sandwich" (Google it), we were upgraded to a beautiful suite on the 11th floor overlooking the mountains toward Utah! Our room was HUGE and very clean with a king size bed, pull out sofa, separate his and her bathrooms and large jacuzzi tub for two. We were happy to be on the backside of the hotel so the late night noise of the Vegas strip didn't keep us up.

We didn't smell any smoke from the casino or have any issues with noise. The room was kept spotless by our wonderful housekeeping, who we tipped generously at the end of our stay. We spent a little time gambling in the casino, but we spent the majority of our time sight seeing and being real tourists. It wasn't quite warm enough to enjoy the pool, but it was very nice and spacious with lots of cabanas and chairs for lounging.

The location of TI is great - it's not quite in the middle of everything, but it's not far off. There is a Walgreens right across the street that has just about anything you'd need during your stay. It's a short distance to the airport as well, so it's easy to get to.

The restaurants at the hotel are really good. We enjoyed breakfasts and the buffet with our reservation, and both were excellent. Don't miss the buffets in Vegas. We spent one day touring the Hoover Dam, and we spent one day driving in a convertible from Vegas to Los Angeles/Pacific Ocean and back. It was such a wonderful experience with beautiful scenery. If the Vegas partying isn't your thing, try taking that day trip. You won't regret it.

Overall, our stay at TI was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on an upper floor to distance yourself from the smoke in the casino on the ground...

Great location. Swimming pool needs an update. If you can get this place at a good rate I do recommend it. But if you are paying similar to the luxurious resorts next door, just opt for Caesars, Venetian, Palazzo, or even Mirage. Best tip I can give you is try to figure out the Cirque Du Soleil schedule because walking thru as you are coming from the parking lot can be a nightmare. No parking and the hallway gets crowded as people exit the theater.

Room Tip: Try to stay near front of Resort so that you can have a view of the Strip
