“Just ok, really showing age though...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013 via mobile

Stayed here for Conf at a lower conference rate. The rooms are big enough, but they are really showing age and wear by now. The whole place kind of smelled musty. The best part about this hotel is the location right next to mirage across from palazzo. The casino was not that great either, just seemed lame compared to the newer ones. But, the value for what you get which is a clean room in a good location can t be beat.

We stayed at the hotel from March 13-16 2013. We arrived at 11am and had to wait in the check in line for about 20 minutes. Got a room on the 15th floor overlooking the pool and the strip. The room was clean and didn't have any funny smells. The maids cleaned it everyday and the staff were very nice. The pool area is very nice and is good for everyone in the family. In the afternoon there is also a DJ at the pool and we would clearly hear the music in our room. Our room was also equipped with a mini fridge which was a nice surprise. My only complaint is that the shower head was stationary and couldn't be moved which would have been nice.

The room was very nicely decorated and comfortable enough. The resort fee for internet access is annoying but I like the option of being able to not pay the extra. My biggest complaint is the noise in the room. The hotel is right by a train track where trains blow their horns several times per night. Even though the beds were comfortable, I did not get a good night's sleep because of the trains. We were on the 23rd floor facing north. If you can get a great rate, it's worth it but if you are paying a lot you are better off going somewhere else. The Coffee Shop was expensive for breakfast and when we tried to extend our stay for 1 day, we couldn't because they were booked for the following night.

The atmosphere is great and they have really convenient parking. My hotel room was comfortable, and the gambling was great. It was NASCAR weekend in Vegas so it was really crowded but, we were still able to find a table to play on when we wanted to.

We stayed at T.I. on March 13th to 17th. Registration was a little slow but not bad. We did notice a strong lingering cigarette smell and the vanilla masking smell was also a bit much. We had a great room on the 34 th floor with a nice view of the strip. Only downside to the room was the bed mattress which left both my wife and I feel like we were sleeping in a big depression in the bed. It was almost funny that we both sunk so deep in the bed we could almost not see each other once in bed ! We asked to have the mattress flipped and either it wasn't done or didn't make any difference. We made the best of it.
Pool was crowded but nice. You can't take even water with you to the pool and the pool police will ensure you're completely food and beverage clean before getting on the pool deck.

We had a great time. Central location to the strip. One problem my wife lost her shoes and we are unable to access the lost and found site on the internet to see if they were found. The food prices were too high for the value received, wait staff in the coffee shop was medioocure at best.

My husband I stayed here for a week. Long lines at check took about 30min to get through, the lady at the counter was rude and not very helpful at all. They try to make you pay $28 resort fee, I was told it was mandatory (I had 3 other friends that checked in and did not have to pay it). She absolutely refused to waive the fee. She then just handed me a booklet and sent me on my way, no directions to elevators, or what floor we were on. When we got to our room, it was clean, comfy beds and nice view.

The restaurants in the hotel were mediocre. Senior Frogs food was nohting to write home about, neither was Gilleys. 4 of us had dinner at Kahunaville serive was horrible, took 2 hours to get our food and leave. We watched a party of 6 come and go before we even got our main dish. The Seafood Shack has a great happy hour and drinks. Best service we recevied throughout the hotel.
If we stayed again at this hotel it would only be to sleep, with so many other dining options we woulds just eat elsewhere.
