“Luxurious resort mid-strip, close to everything”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2014

Gorgeous 5-star large resort in the middle of the strip, walking distance to all the action, w/ lots to do. Multiple pools & not over-run with kids. Plan ahead & make dinner reservations at hotel restaurants; tons of great options for dinner. Busy casino, but never felt crowded. Buffet brunch is my fave on the strip; lots of small plates, so you don't fill up on just one dish...amazing desserts, as well. Really nice/clean/large fitness center. HUGE spa is my fave highlight; plan to spend a few hours to really enjoy all spa amenities, since treatment prices are high (as all over Vegas). Lots of staff to assist you; we've gone back to Aria multiple times & haven't been disappointed.

Room Tip: Book a strip view room to enjoy sparkling views at night! higher floors the better for best views.

Green Features: They say they sort their hotel room trash & recycle, but I prefer when hotels provide a separate trash can for recyclables.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2014

We purchased our Vegas stay in Jan 2014 for May 2014 online thru the Aria Hotel. We were VERY disappointed to learn when we checked in for our flights that we were not sitting together. We could not pay xtra on the flights out to Vegas to try to sit together because they were sold out. We did however have to pay an additional $120 to get to sit together on our flights home. (This is something the hotel does not tell you up front) When you check in they tell you they need to run your credit card and you will be charged $130 per day for incidentals and if you don't charge anything to your room or take anything from the mini bar that $ will be refunded. When we checked out we were told there would be a $25 per day charge for resort fees. We asked why they didn't just add this to the original package price we were told it doesn't work that way. The hotel was very beautiful with lots of restaurants but they are VERY expensive. Our corner room was very nice with an amazing view, (I would def recommend the corner room just for the view). The bed and pillows were horrible, most uncomfortable bed we've ever tried to sleep on. Overall this was a nice hotel but we will stay in a different hotel on our next visit to Vegas.

Room Tip: The corner rooms have an amazing view.

Wow what a place. We didnt have the best start to our holiday as British Airways lost our suitcases so when we arrived at the Aria Hotel we joined the queue for check in and when it was our turn. Rodney was the guy to check us in and what a nice guy he was he was so friendly and gave us so much information on where we can get some essentials from while we waited for our suitcase {48 hours we waited} He was great me and the wife both wish we had more dollars at the time to give him. I hope the Aria manager passes on our special thanks as he was awesome. Went to our room which was on the 19th Floor perfect room curtains opened as we walked in just like Rondey said they would and we put our hand luggage down and went out to explore the shops close by.
During our stay we ate in a few of the food places their which were great, The shop elements is a handy little store open 24 hours i think Tuesday morning at about 5.30am we went down as we needed to make plans for another day without cases the lady at the till was very friendly and helpful. Used starbucks a few times. Would not recommend the nightclub as we asked about ti on friday night and was told we would be put on the guestlist as we were residents. They said they would text us to let us know when its done. Im still waiting for the text!
Hotel was very easy to get around and a great base to go around Vegas from. Pool looked nice but we didnt use it as we were so busy.
Look forward to a return trip to Vegas

Room Tip: Eat at Julian Sarrano during happy hour great food. Barman Geoff awesome guy very funny.

Thank you for taking the time to share that your experience at ARIA has been so overwhelmingly positive. It is great to know our Food & Beverage varieties such as Starbucks, and our retail outlet Elements were much to your liking. I am also thrilled to see you were met with the most excellent service from Rodney at our Front Desk and Geoff at Julian Serrano. Your recognition of their efforts is truly appreciated.

Additionally, I apologize for the circumstances you encountered with Haze Nightclub. Please know your feedback is very valuable and has been shared with our team. Once again, thank you for your comments and I look forward to greeting you in the future.

Came here for a long weekend and even though I have been to AZ before; this was first time at this property. It is centrally located and has amazing views. Rooms are very large and spacious, multiple closets and great tub/shower bathrooms. Service its a bit impersonal but I guess due to the size of this hotel it can be quiet impossible. Facility is very clean and staff was very helpful.

I have to report I am no connoisseur of this genre, not being much of a gambler or admirer of the many sorts of flash found in LV, nonetheless @159 a night one could do a lot worse. The rooms were clean and high tech - free internet, nice service, all amenities overpriced by twice, but that standard of rapaciousness is well known even outside LV. Opening the door to one's room for the first time triggers the curtain to draw back revealing very nice views. The bathroom was great, huge walking shower and deep and wide tub. The pools were delightful. I don't stay here enough to be able to compare so this is a simple report to say that it's far from suffering, mind your pennies, enjoy the solid basics.

We were at the hotel from April 24 to 29th. Took a cab from the airport and fare was $ 21 with tip. Told the driver no tunnels. Beautiful first impression as the lobby is bright with natural light which is very usual in Vegas. Check-in was quite quick and the check-in clerk moved us from the pre-assigned room on the 3rd floor to the 25th floor. No complimentary upgrade which was fine. We didn't expect something for nothing. Room was large enough for two people. It certainly wasn't the biggest room but nothing at all to complain about. Bathroom was large and very well appointed. Will review the restaurants separately.
Pool area was beautiful - not too big, not too small. Had no problems, in the morning, finding chairs where we wanted to sit. As mentioned, food and drink are expensive but this is a 5 star hotel.
Casino was modern and when you go to other casinos you will be happy that this one is not as smokey as others. CW service was o.k. but it could be quicker.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Two issues: Twice during our stay they closed down one or more pools early. The first time was just one pool and that was o.k. but on April 28th they originally were going to close ALL pools at 3:00 p.m. for a large corporate event. This was outrageous. Later, they changed their mind and were going to keep one pool open until 5:00 p.m. Why ? because after talking to the CW she said they didn't think it would be this busy. They decided to keep one pool open so that they could cash in on all the food and drink orders. Corporate greed times two.
Also, I discovered on May 14th that I had lost my hat. I'm sure I lost it at the pool on April 28th when we had to switch chairs. I got a prompt reply from the general email box with the correct email address for lost and found and have sent them two emails (included was a picture of the hat) and they haven't yet replied. I love this hat and hope they have it but at least they should reply.

We had wonderful stay at the Aria. We were in a Crystal Suite with a great view. The room was gorgeous and impeccably maintained. The bed was very comfortable. The pool area is very nice with 3 large hot tubs and 3 pools to relax in. All staff we dealt with were friendly and professional.
