We spent a little time in this casino. It is way to smelly. They pump a tropical perfume into it and even though the smell is nice its far to strong. The casino was nice but I could hardly breath from the smell. I'd rather smell the smoke. The walkways to NYNY and Excalibur are very convenient and the Rainforest café looked like a fun place to eat dinner. If your sensitive to perfume, do not stay here.

Checked in last night and indeed like others say the west wing king is horrible, not even a coffee maker!
For the money it is sad. Small inconvenient layout and a depressing long commute to the lobby.

We arrived in the evening time and it was pretty fast to check in. Our room had a fabulous view of NY NY hotel, Excalibur, and Luxor. Seeing the mountains in the day time from our room was amazing. We were on the 15th floor. Everything was clean in our room and in the hallway. The casino was pretty good but the servers were sparse when wanting a drink at the slot machines. Great restaurant choices within the hotel and 3 Starbucks. One is open 24 hours, which is really awesome. It would've been nice for a coffee pot or something to make hot water. Checking out was easy and friendly staff. You can print your boarding pass for free near reception so that was nice. I would stay at this hotel again. We had a Groupon deal and it made the cost even more affordable.

Stopped at the MGM in October when we arrived we had a very short wait for check in, i asked the young lady about Mlife as I was a member but needed to get my cards etc and she did them there and then and also gave me a free upgrade we were booked for the west wing but I had heard terrible reviews so asked if there was a possibility to be moved to another room and area, no problem, we got a great room at the back /side of the hotel overlooking Tropicana and Excalibur. Room was excellent, staff were very good clean towels everyday. The only reason I don't give this hotel and excellent is its size, 6,000 rooms, it took ages some nights to get a lift (especially Halloween) and the hotel is just to big. The pool area is great and the hotel has everything you need a mini city if you like, shops, restaurants, bars, clubs etc. The casino floor looks and feels very dated and is in need of renovating however these are minor details. value for money is good and we would stop here again and would recommend to anyone.

Room Tip: Don't stop in West wing at front of hotel, lot's of guest complaining about this area.

The main reason why I choose to stay at MGM it's because the great location,
I have to say that first, the lobby very Impressive. But when we reached to our room, I was verry Disappointed.
The Old rooms, the bed was Uncomfortable.
We couldn't even look at the window at night, because there was green light lamp on the window from outside.

NOT RECOMMENDED IF YOU ARE COMING NOT TO ENJOY THE CASINO.

Room Tip: Do not take the cheapest rooms!

This was my second time staying at MGM Grand. The hotel has a good feel to it, and the same with the atmosphere. The rooms are nice and quite modern. Be sure to ask for a room I think in the grand or north wing as you get a good view of the strip. They have also now implemented free wi-fi which is good

Room Tip: North or Grand wing I beleive

I would highly recommend the MGM.The reception area is huge took about 20 minutes to check in, our room were lovely and clean with a great view, beds were so comfy, the only fault was that there was no fridge in our room. Staff we're lovely and location was great, I would deffintly stay here if I return to Las Vegas :-)
